WFD
WFD is a game where you protect small fields from slimes that harm crops.
Slimes might look quite cute, but that doesn’t mean you can let your guard down! All the crops will disappear in a blink of an eye!
Eliminate the incoming slimes with the water gun!
Handling the water gun can be quite tricky… Aim the controller holding the water gun and pull the trigger!
Use the rocket skill to blow away clustered slimes in one shot!
Oh no! Those slimes are ruining the crops!
Even if you’re a skilled marksman, when slimes swarm in, the crops are bound to suffer.
Grab the drone control stick and maneuver the drone to heal the damaged crops.
I can’t take it anymore!
Even in moments of crisis, don’t worry! Simply turn your head slightly and use your hand to hit the skill buttons that you can see.
Hit the shield button to deploy a shield that protects the crops temporarily from all damage.
Hit the drone enhancement button to temporarily increase the drone’s speed and healing capabilities.
Finally! Sweet harvest time!
Crops are automatically harvested when their growth time is over.
Harvested crops are settled for money, and you can purchase upgrades at the shop that opens right away.
Defend your fields from the increasingly powerful slime horde by purchasing upgrades!
Advance through stages to unlock hidden elements!
Challenge impressive records as you face quite challenging bosses!

You can view my gameplay & early impressions here:
This is a mix of wave shooter, farming sim, & tower defense. You basically protect your crops from a bunch of different slime baddies with your water gun, rocket launcher, & with two different protection drone abilities on cool-down. It gets very frantic quickly and you have to get the right upgrades as you go along. There's also boss fights after a certain number of waves.
The gameplay though while frantic, is very basic. Not much really changes, other than you may sometimes have to quickly decide which is the priority target or which ability to use for the situation. There are just more and more enemies and they do become total bullet sponges at a certain point.
I did have fun though. It's just a simple game with a simple gameplay loop, where you can turn off your brain and just go for as long as possible. There's a certain charm to the game. It's challenging enough. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting steady 90 fps. Action is 180 degrees in front of you so no need to move or turn. Only settings available are right or left handed, sound, & language. You can play comfortably seated, although you may have to manually center your position. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs.
Rate 5.5/10.
