As a Reaper Class 4, Unit 82 (R482), your current job is to collect the remaining souls from a previous reaper’s attempt. Your job’s outcome is determined by your exploration, your reaping, and your attitude towards the many lost souls. You only get one chance to make an impression, there is no going back.
We Die is a decision-making experience, your decisions dictate the outcome of your job. Your attitude plays an important role in the outcome you decide, as you can strive to complete our 4 different endings. There are a plethora of different conversations that include hints, as well as lore throughout the story.

Pretty good start for their debut.
It gives a sense of loneliness. Very narrative driven and I wish that they'd continue developing this narrative more.
The soundtrack was killer. Gives me TLoU vibes.
With regards to gameplay, the movement serves it's purpose, but the dialogue interactions could be better.
This is a dialogue heavy game despite it's short play time, and there are choices to be made. The thing that I had a problem with was that there is no notification for when a choice is going to be made during a conversation. It is easy to mash spacebar and not notice that there was a choice to be made.
All in all, pretty good game. I would keep an eye on these developers for their future works.

This was a nice little adventure/ walking simulator game from what I assume are a few aspiring game developers.
What is it?: You are a reaper in a walking and text sim in which you chat with ghosts and try to persuade them to join you to go to the afterlife. There are four endings, and I was able to finish one in 20 minutes. I wouldn't use time as a measurement here, just know this is a nice little experience that tries to get you to think a little.
Graphics, sound, etc: Graphics were basic black and white, but were a thematic fit. Controls are very simple and do their function. Music was very nice and set the mood well. The writing is engaging and pleasant.
So...should I get it?: Its pretty cheap, and could probably entertain you for an hour or so if you want to try and get all of the endings. This is a very light "choice" game, and is more like a short story then a novel. If you're in the mood to support and experience what appear to be new developers, I don't think you'll be disapointed.

I got told by a friend that this game was just dropped and so I got it and tried it, and I got to say I loved it. The story was fun for what it was, the choices you make made me feel like I was affecting the game and I had to play though it multiple times to see the different ending (of which there's 4), the soul that follows you around brought me a lot of enjoyment to see it's reactions, and last but not least It's a really nice concept for the game and I want to see more of it.

This game is very unique and totally original! I never played a game like this before. The theme, story, different characters fit so well together on this adventure. Overall this game is really beautiful.
It makes the player want more and keeps you curious while trying to understand what is happening.
One thing I would note is that the game seems a little short, but that does not take away from the overall experience. This game is definitely worth the try, and it's not your typical story-driven game. I hope to see more from this studio since I been really satisfied with this project!

This is a amazing game. I have always loved games that give the player a choice. It is great how the game makes you think. I feel like most games now don't do much of that anymore. From shooters to horror games there seems to never be time to think about what your doing or who your actions impact. It's worth far more than the 2 dollars I paid for it. If you ask me games should have content rather than focus on graphics. This game does just that. It's a shame that I could have never seen this game. Im lucky to have purgey know you.

Short and sweet!
This game's got a pretty compelling story which is enhanced by the fact that your choices affect the story.

It did take a little bit of hunting, but I did play this game to completion. Overall, I think this game is amazing. Especially when you consider that this is the first game published by this group. I, personally, did have a few nitpicks, but most of it is just my own opinion. There's a distinctly violent soul you are tasked with reaping that I found to be rather vulgar, and it contrasts with the somber tone the game is trying to convey. Otherwise, this game is beautifully written. The two main characters have good chemistry, and play off each other well. This is especially noticeable when you choose different actions or dialogue options. Another aspect to note is that graphics. The game has you follow the main character walking down a sidewalk, but the scenery is breathtaking. Dull, somber, and dark. It adds to the depressing tone, and really drives the theme home. If you have the time to spare, I definitely recommend giving this game a try.
