Warriors Orochi 4 pokazuje przede wszystkim trzy kwestie – pierwsza jest taka, że opłaca się Omega Force i Koei wydawać swoje produkcje także na Steamie. Mamy parę dni po premierze, w tytuł ten gra kilka tysięcy graczy dziennie. Koei na początku XXI wieku trafiło w niszę, a wydawanie kolejnych tworów co kilka/kilkanaście miesięcy nie nudzi się graczom. Druga jest taka, że Dynasty Warriors 9 było porażką i kombinowanie w rdzeniu gry, który sprawdza się od kilkunastu lat, było nieprzemyślane i chybione. Trzecia, najważniejsza – Warriors Orochi 4 to najlepsza gra od Omega Force od bardzo dawna. Masa grywalnych bohaterów, nowi przeciwnicy, magia w systemie walki, no i ten lokalny co-op, który zawsze daje frajdę.
