The worlds have been shattered, and you have been exiled to one of these shards. The time has come to return to Ardania and seek vengeance on those who cast you out. Battle through the fractured realms inhabited by other exiles, hostile Mages and terrifying creatures. Once back in Ardania you will face your greatest threat: The United One and his four Vicars. Conquer all who oppose you, reclaim your home and take your revenge. Warlock 2 is a turn-based strategy game of fantasy warfare. Rival against Great Mages, lead mighty armies into fierce battles, wield ancient magic and faith as your weapons. Experience the challenge in single or multiplayer. This is IMO the best fantasy 4x game available. It is seriously underrated.

One of the best 4x games currently on steam with huge potential of replaybility. I like new races and units which were added to this one. I recommend everyone to take Naga DLC which adds maritime Naga race. It gives players very challenging but unique experience. I regret that there no plans for the third installment of this series.

This game needs to be released with a current update with current technology. The fact that Paradox Games released this program with an editor included really opens the game up to managing everything from Papyrus to almost anything you can imagine. Great game with versatility and a crap load of fun.

This didn't get a lot of love from the steam community and it does have it's shortcomings but so did Warlock 1. A few things are fixed including the God-awful right and left mouse buttons for movement corrected. I have also had a few CTDs, but I also am using a couple mods so that may be why. And speaking of mods- there are some great ones that are total conversions effectively turning this into Warlock 3. I recommend it and am enjoying playing it.

The game is good, but the AI makes it too easy very quickly. The AI simply can't deal with your UBER units that have so many buffs on them, they become virtually immortal. Mods attempting to fix AI don't work. I played on hardest difficulty setting, going to war immediately with every AI, and gave my wizard no perks, and I still easily win. There is a really good game concept in here that just needed a more elegant execution to be really good. I recommend if its <$10.
