Don't rush the game, have fun and do stuff while you play like listen to some music or something like that

No co tu dużo mówić.

This game is a power fantasy. You are near-immortal godlike being, but also run as a ninja-like weird creature that obliterates bajillions of enemies by swinging a funny sword in their general direction or ripping their guns from their hands and turning them into auto-turrets or sometimes even just by standing near them. This game scratches that itch that franchises like teenage mutant ninja turtles or old canon star wars did - it's over-the-top, flashy, very much self aware, but also capable of telling meaningful stories sometimes.
If you look for a challenge - this game will be boring. If you like games that are grim and 100% serious - this game will be frustrating. But if you want a constant stream of dopamine from big explosions, absurd numbers and just doing acrobatics when commiting indescribable warcrimes, this game is perfect for you.
Also, there's a lot of stuff to do - you can save hostages, or you can just go fishing and mining gems. You can have a battlemech, an exploding motorcycle, a three-string guitar, flying skeleton horse, and uhh... there's a dating simulator now? And an evil y2k boyband except not quite? Yeah, this game will feel overwhelming the moment the tutorial ends - devs constantly work on making the game more accessible to new players, but there's a long way before this and for every fix in new player experience, tons of new weapons, frames, mods (very, very important mechanic here, literaly the basis of getting funny numbers) and general stuff to do is added.
Also, the game is constantly work-in-progress for like 12 years, so get used to bugs, some assets having aged poorly and plotlines that went nowhere.
But devs genuinely care about their game and the monetization system is realy fair, allowing you a fully f2p experience if you're not afraid to interact with other players. And speaking of players, comparing the community with other multiplayer games of the same genre people here are really welcoming and nice most of the time.
And in the end, with enough hours in, it will turn into a dress-up game with extra steps anyway.
