Wanted Raccoon
Wanted Raccoon is a story about a raccoon that lived a peaceful life in the forest until one day people invaded it. They cut down the trees and built their own houses instead. Animals` families were taken away from them and all those who couldn`t hide were placed in animal shelters. Our Raccoon met the same fate. Help the raccoon get free, find his family, and find a new home. It`s time to fight people back!
Raccoon`s enemies – hunters, cops, and other residents of Raccoon City also have their own story and behavior.
The game is full of various locations: forest, construction site, animal shelter, different houses, car dump, car repair shop, church, stores, etc. Each of them contains multiple tasks and many interactions with the outside world.
Completing tasks will allow you to increase the level of the raccoon, master skills, improve your base, get various items necessary for crafting and buying devices, develop a shelter for other animals, as well as to find new friends.
RIDE A SKATEBOARD
You can easily overcome long distances of Raccoon City on a skateboard! Explore the game world and run from the cops and other enemies.
STEAL RESOURCES
Steal resources, alone or together with other animals, that will help you in achieving your goals and confronting people.
CRAFT ITEMS
Create various traps and useful gadgets from the resources obtained in the open world and while completing tasks.
BUILD A BASE
Build and develop your base! Here you can give shelter to other animals on the loose and organize resistance to the common enemy-human beings!
MAKE TRAPS
Create traps in Wanted Raccoon! They can be combined in different ways to neutralize the enemy. But you should also be careful so that not to get into a trap!
BUY DEVICES
Some items are impossible to craft, but you can trade in the game to purchase the necessary gadgets and crafting components.
PLAN ROBBERIES
There is a room for planning bold robberies at your disposal. These crawls are needed to replenish food supplies, resources and building materials for the base.
GO UNNOTICED
Open confrontation with people is not the best tactic. Stealth is your main weapon. Avoid unnecessary attention, the human world is full of danger!
CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER
The character has a wide selection of clothes. It doesn`t only make the Raccoon look good, but also increases its protection, as well as improves some characteristics.
GET AWAY FROM THE CHASE
Look around! There are different vehicles in Raccoon City that you can steal to escape from the pursuit of the cops.
EXPLORE THE OPEN WORLD
Explore the world – there are many locations with unique gameplay and different ways to interact with the environment.
DO DIRTY TRICKS TO PEOPLE
People have taken your home. Your mission is to take revenge! Arrange break-ins in people’s houses, interfere with their work and just have fun in the game world of Wanted Raccoon!

For the rest of you TLDR
Pros:
1. A cute game with adorable animations
2. The story seems to be fun and funny and is going somewhere. Had a very enjoyable experience going through it and had good laughs
Cons:
1. It's (obviously) an early access title but they promised an update EACH MONTH and it's been... well way longer (last update was in May (but I'm not 100% sure)
Haven't checked out the multiplayer, unfortunately, to give you any insight or feedback on that (I don't have any friends)
Overall - you can be a scheming raccoon and you can tie people up

The game is buggy but kind of fun still, theirs still a lot the devs still gotta do like more features for the raccoon, skateboard, and the environment and fixes for this game but it still has the chance to be best game of the year. Also its not controller compatible and definitely would get it on sale only.

You get to play as a raccoon and ride a skateboard, but right now the entire game feels like a tutorial. You get directions every step of the way and never really have to do anything that requires a lot of thinking. While I'm excited to see where they take this game I don't know if I will play it again till they're done with development. I got the game on sale, so for the 69% off (yes, it was 69% off) I would say it is worth it.

The Good:
- This game has a nice look overall, and they've put a lot of effort into the raccoons' appearances, outfits, and certain other features.
- The physics are also pretty good - I never got stuck despite taking unconventional routes climbing over obstacles, the skateboard mechanics work well, and throwing objects, etc. is fun.
- Dialogue is nice, and I found myself liking the characters you meet well enough.
- The story is fine, however, I did not complete it.
The Bad:
- Biggest issue is the back and forth. This game is rife with running backwards and forwards, often laden with heavy objects, which make it feel very tedious. This is ultimately what made me put down the game
- In some locations, you are never caught despite being obvious, while in others you are caught incredibly easily.
- There is no noticeable difference between citizen AI and animal catcher AI, which makes crowded locations annoying as everyone becomes immediately intent on catching you with zero hesitation.
Should you play it?
- It's not an expensive game generally, and I recognise it's from an indie studio. If you have an afternoon and want to zoom around as a little raccoon causing mischief - think a very simplified GTA or Bully but with a raccoon - then go for it. Overall, it's okay.

My recommendation comes with an asterisk. The game has a lot of potential for cute raccoon shenanigans, but from what I can tell it's been in Early Development for YEARS and the development team just.... hasn't really been working on it? Which IS a pretty big disappointment because this game could be SO MUCH MORE by now than what it is. My advice is to wait for a sale and then fart around in it as much as you care to at the reduced price.
