Vindicator: Uprising
Vindicator: Uprising is a platform shoot ’em up with pixel graphics and an epic soundtrack. Shoot your way through nine hardcore action levels with fast, responsive gameplay and unique challenging levels.
The game has specially written orchestral music for each level.
The player character is a special agent for an organization called “The Order” that rules the world in league with the “Angels”. The Angels are a mysterious ancient race, mercenaries which sought to conquer the earth and made a pact with the emerging organization. The player discovers the hidden truths that the Order uses for world domination. He then turns against his “Order” and leads earth’s resistance as a “Vindicator” with his arcane knowledge to oppose the Angels.
This is a new revamped version of Vindicator: Uprising. This version features a more balanced difficulty level, player achievements and other improvements. The old Windows version can still be downloaded for free at our website.

This is definitely not for everyone...It is close to tough as nails and will appeal mostly to the diehard platformers.
It is very simple graphic design, but surprising fluid animation for the tiny sprites.
Challenging level design, with a little bit of back and forth that can be annoying. It can definitely also frustrate in a positive way.
I particularly liked the unique level design, having the baddies behavior contribute significantly to how you progress.
It is quite gratifying when you do finish a level :)
ACHIEVEMENTS: Very tough to 100% this one...There is not only time trial per level, no damage per level, but time trial & no death for entire game :p

great classic NES style game. can be difficult, but gets easier with persistence. the only negative is it only takes a couple hours to get through, and thats if you are as bad at it as i was.

New game where you play as Mozart and attempt to kill angels? bishops? Unsure of which. They will light your ass on fire for sure.
6/10 too hard of a game for my pleb skills.
