Valley is a First-Person adventure unlike any other. Hidden deep within a remote region of the Rocky Mountains, you find yourself bewildered within a secluded valley. With the power of a recently discovered L.E.A.F. suit (Leap Effortlessly though Air Functionality), run and jump your way through beautiful forests, dangerous ruins and vast environments all the while utilizing the power to control life and death to uncover the startling secrets of the mysterious valley.

Good and short game (took me around 3,5h to beat). Movement flows nicely due to the responsive controls, although the wall climbing parts are a little difficult to see at some times. Underlying story about high tech research and it's ambitions is a a little shallow because of the relatively short time it takes to beat the game, but still acceptably well written.
Graphics are quite outdated, but still atmospheric enough.
7,5/10 for a walking/free running simulator, get it for a bargain if possible, it's worth playing

Great game, so much better than I would have guessed.
The story is told through audiologs (with a story explanation why you can hear them) and pages scattered around. I some games this isnt working well, but in this game it worked great in my opinion. The music is fantastic.
TLDL: Loved the game, was just what I hoped it would be and more. Its worth it for full price, but goes on sale for less than 2€.
The vibe is exploration with parkour and has less of a "dark/horror feeling" than the last part of the first trailer suggests, but has a story theming around "power over life and death" and "soldiers of the future" set around the ending of WWII, to me this gave more of an "i want to know what went how wrong" than the "i dont want to die" most horror games give. Im normally very jumpy but was fine with this game. What spooked me the most was actually a rolling can - that shouldnt have been moving... You get some breathing time between enemies/ most of the game is enemy-free.
You can go for speed and run through the levels or you take your time and search for everything - i did both, with most levels, first slow, looking for stuff and then how fast I could go after I had everything.
I was left pretty much without any questions after playing the game over the span of a week and hearing/reading everything - what happened, how and why etc.. Also look at the diagrams etc you can see on the walls/whiteboards to work out answers most people seemed to have overlooked (according to the discussions).
The game ran very well, never crashed, no bugs for me and I never got stuck. If its too dark you can change the gamma in the options.
Runs well on the steam deck. Everything you do saves, but if you restart its always at the start of the level.
A negative rewiev stated that choosing between male and female character would be pointless: I dont think so. You dont see the character much, but you hear the "nonworded voice" like grunting and simular. I do think it made a difference for me to hear a female voice.
