Ich würde das Spiel empfehlen, wenn man solche Spiele mag.
Ich finde viele Charaktere sympathisch, interessant und vielseitig.
Auch sind sie gut ausbalanciert.
Die Story ist aber auch so stumpf wie man es von einem solchen Titel aus der dritten Reihe erwartet und die Balance kann hier und da auch entsprechend cheesy sein.
Die Übersetzung ist oftmals auch nur so lala.
Am ärgerlichsten finde ich noch, dass die meisten Karten zu klein sind. Man kann oft nur ein Viertel seines Kaders ausspielen.
Es halt also durchaus seine Ecken und Kanten.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 bietet eine einzigartige Kombination aus Echtzeit- und Rundenstrategie, dazu eine eine packende Geschichte mit gut ausgearbeiteten Anime-Charakteren, die sich allerdings eher wie hysterische Teenager als reale Soldaten benehmen (das typisch asiatische Overacting). Die aquarellartige Grafik verleiht dem Spiel eine einzigartige Ästhetik. Einige Missionen können frustrierend sein. Auch die Visual-Novel-Elemente werden für meinen Geschmack zu ausführlich verwendet.

Sehr schönes Spiel und auch noch immer eines meiner Lieblingsspiele.
Schade nur das es auf Steam lediglich Valkyria Chronicles und Valkyria Chronicles 4 gibt...
