its the easiest competitive Quake, so I call it Quake Casual; u start with a ton of health/armour and weapons are basically infinite (this can be a con because it eliminate interesting mechanic of weapons sharing that is present in Quake2); so its very forgiving of your mistakes (hardest might be Quake2 due to spawn kills with 1 shot rail); additionally its the easiest Quake to rail; performance is really good; champions abilities are nice addition to quake though im rather neutral on the topic; movement type, speed, starting armour and model size differentiation is interesting

main things i dont like are: no friendly fire (this do eliminate griefing and makes game so much simpler , but then it introduce a bit stupid mechanic of just running around in pack in team mode), no hp lost from high distance fall down, u are forced to view ugly models and skins (no option to force single colour of entire enemy)

im surprised this game is not more popular, its quite good, they probably ruined their reputation with too many problems during open beta

Come back in time when laying other parts of quake :) wish it will have capture the flag remake of original maps from arena 3, real good time spending online with others.

Quake Champions to powrót do korzeni klasycznych arenowych strzelanek, które kiedyś zdefiniowały gatunek. Gra czerpie pełnymi garściami z dynamiki i adrenaliny znanej z Quake III Arena, jednocześnie dodając nowoczesne elementy, takie jak unikalne umiejętności championów. Jak chcesz sobie przypomnieć stare dobre "arena shootery" z dobrą grafiką to polecam, ale według mnie gra jest martwa.
