Ultimate Disc Golf

For someone that used to play every weekend with friends that is now disabled and can't walk the courses, I LOVE THIS GAME! It truly has filled the need to get out there and sling a disc again. Thank you for taking the time to develop such a beautifully artistic and fun game to play. Looking forward to seeing how far this team goes with this project.... : )

Fun game! The controls are very lifelike and the developers are CONSTANTLY working on improvements with us fans in the discord. All around great community! Can't wait to see all the improvements before the final release!

I am writing this review with the intention of giving customer feedback and positive critique. The game as a whole is very enjoyable. I am a huge disc golfer and would recommend this to anyone who plays and encourage people to keep pushing our game in a positive direction.
What I liked:
The courses are really nice. They have some good variation and provide challenges and different shot shaping.
The hole previews were nice and the ability to switch from backhand to forehand to spin putt and turbo was all really nice. The disc descriptions when picking your disc is nice.
The Cons:
The game physics are not great. The flight of a disc seems like it never loses speed so the higher you throw it the farther it goes because it just keeps on going. The ground play is also crazy i mean your disc can skip well over 200 feet from where it lands which makes the game a little tough.
There is no option for a standstill shot at least at the moment which would help when next to trees or rocks and seems like it would be less complicated to add than an X step.
The game modes are limited to just casual play.
What id love to see in this game moving forward is improved physics and the addition of a "career mode" something that has a tour or events that can earn you attribute points towards making your character better. I remember grinding old golf games to make my character better to play against my friends. All in all this game looks great and has so much potential I am really hoping the developer sticks with this thing and continues making improvements to it. I am recommending this game to all my friends.

*UPDATE* It's been 3 months since my original review and I just wanted to say this game is coming along PERFECTLY! Constant updates, constant improvements and the game plays amazingly... It's already the best Disc Golf game ever made BY FAR!
*Original Review* This game may be in Alpha-Stage, but you can already tell it's gona be an insane, beautiful game once it's finished! It's super fun to play how it is, a huge update is coming soon which is sure to add even more great improvements! This game is super cheap @ $10 and it's definitely worth every penny!

I also wanted to add that anyone who wants to know the direction the game is going to go and what the overall game plan is for this game, all you need to do is watch some Youtube videos and you'll see with the devs latest update video that this game is going to do everything the right way! Character creation will eventually be super in-depth with tons of outfits, accessories & body options for your create-A-character... multiplayer will be in real-time, as in you can see other players throwing their discs, just like you would in real life at an actual course! There will be a progression system with the single player campaign that will reward you with unlockables and perks! There will be add-on courses and DLC down the line, along with a lot of other great content! THERE WILL BE VR SUPPORT... need I say anything more!!! Basically, the devs game-plan for the near future of this game is to bring us something that has never really been done with a sports game before, the immersion factor is gona be INSANE!!!

Quite early access at time of review, but is always being worked on. Quite an interesting idea... frisbee golf. Challenging gameplay factors you'd expect in any realistic golf game. Has potential.

Plenty of potential. For the currently available discs, the flights are generally consistent and shot shapes make sense on the courses. The courses are well designed, and feel realistic. Certainly bugs being worked on right now, but with additional features this game could be a blast multiplayer. Hoping to see more options involving angle control and disc selections!

No hyzer angle adjustment, a roll away might take 2 entire minutes and multiplayer hasn't been populated yet with other players that I have witnessed, other than that...fantastic. If you ever wondered what it is like to play disc golf, this game does a decent job simulating. A long throw can be severely punished, maybe overly so, but the reward of catching metal or chains is present. Lay up or make a bid on a putt is a decision that is felt.
