The description of Trigger Dungeon tells you everything you need to know: it's a precision platformer with an emphasis on surprise traps (and thus rote repetition and memory skills). It does what it sets out to do, and the presentation is fairly decent. Definitely fodder for speedrunners and those with an affinity for precision platformers in general.
My only real gripe was that I strongly disliked that platform collision rectangles often seem to have rounded edges, meaning you slide off them, even if it appears you should be able to stand on them. This could possibly be an intentional design decision, but certainly doesn't feel like it.
Probably worth the price of admission if you're really into this genre.

Precision/memorization platformer that can be finished in 2 hours. The objective of the game is to get to the finish line by hopping on platforms and avoiding traps; however, some "safe" platforms conceal hidden traps. This frequently manifests itself as spikes emerging from an apparently harmless box.
You start by selecting one of the three worlds (difficulty). Despite the fact that they all have the same objects and traps, they are all unique enough. Each world is comprised of a series of rooms or puzzles that follow a predetermined course. Surprises, though, are still possible. Hidden walls serve as shortcuts, and items marked with a question mark transfer you to a different location. In some cases, I don’t know if this is a feature or a bug; when I touched one of the boxes, I was sent back several rooms. And when I died after solving a number of rooms, I was transported back to this one. Under normal conditions, dying has no consequence because you quickly respawn at the room's entrance. There is even a save feature that allows you to quit and continue next time.
The sensation of movement is weird. It's quite simple to misjudge a jump or plummet over the edge because your character is so quick. The character's wide stature doesn’t help either; it’s just small enough to fit between two falling blocks. Jumping is quite forgiving; you can walk off the platform, both feet dangling in the air, and still jump.
Achievements are all fair and you’re not forced to finish a world with no deaths.
Overall, a nice time-waster!
