After 150 hours of playing I don't know why I have not made a review on this but now I am lol. I'm just gonna tell you a few things that you should read before actually buying this game.
1: its already free on quest so if you don't wanna waste your money I would get the game on quest.
2: This is an extraction based game and you can't store your actual loot, however you can store your healing items and a few other stuff
3: This game is pretty hard for newer players and it might not seem that fun at first however the more you play the better you get and the more you understand the game and how fun it actually is
4: by the time I'm writing this review this game is in beta. EXPECT ALOT OF BUGS. However the dev team is working really hard to fix all of these issues.
5: At the moment there is not much stuff to do other than pvp, fighting a few skeletons, fishing, and of course treasure hunting and it could get boring after a while however you can probably get like 70-80 hours out of this game without getting bored, which is VERY good for a vr game.
6: Is the game actually worth it? Well it depends on the type of games you like, if you like extraction games and pirate games like Sea Of Thieves you will probably like Sail. However if you are not into that kind of stuff you might not like it that much. It just depends on what types of games you like.
If you still don't know if you want to buy the game or not you can look at Habies video on it, He gives a pretty good review on the game. Here's the link if you want to watch the video

Great game!
A really good open-world VR pirate game and i would def recommend. I got the game for free and i had to give it a good review, since i have been looking for a pirate VR game for a long time and couldn't find one i liked, i was hyped when i firstly downloaded the singleplayer.
Sadly there are a lot of bugs. But it is after all in early access.
I could reallly see this game going places in 1-2 years if the devs put work into it👍

So much fun. Even better with others. I like so much i have on Oculus as well now, and am a Patreon supporter. The Dev's are awesome and listen on discord and do polls for new content. Game is ever getting better. Its Sea Of Thieves in VR and more light hearted pvp. There is a all out pvp map as well now for those into that. Keep up the good work Red Team and Garrett!

ok first of all i want to say its a very early review (also its not sponsored) and it is after a constantly shifting early access too so please take these into consideration.
i love this game so far ... its literally sea of thieves but in vr.. i know right!! bloody amazing and about time...
its early access so there are a lot of little bugs and issues that youll quickly marmite (love or hate).
it does very much have its own identity so dont go in thinking like i did that itll be basically the same i was very pleasantly surprised by the whole thing.
my gripes are as follows so far and these will change as the game progresses:
load times are a little painful.
swords dont sit in the hand right they need to have the tip further away from you so you dont over swing it would be nice to have this changed or have the ability to set them where you want them.
compass doesnt seem to work on the pistol either.
weapons dont stay in your hands if you have longer arms than the character. and heights of players dont seem to match up short people always squatting etc.
jump and squat are the wrong way round at least for me. so button editing would be nice.
he/she is a pirate why cant we swim which also leads me to underwater wreckage does that mean there isnt any?. it makes traversing the island really slow and drawn out as you dont know if you can get from one to another even in the same island cluster.
fighting is a bit janky but thats to be expected this early i guess.
starter raft needs to be a bit wider especially while you get used to the game its all a little squashed on there.
price is a tiny bit heavy for this point in the game but considering what some come out as at this stage its still a good price.
but so far thats literally it other than that the game is great fun to play and long awaited.
ive always been a huge fan of s.o.t and hated it was pancake only, so i couldnt be happier and intend the play the hell out of this. so i give it 4 stars and will change that as it develops please give these guys huge support and come see us on the seas.

Very fun! I cant wait until nearly all the bugs get removed. Even tho there are bugs it is very amazing.
