This game is still as great as it was when it had over 93% positive reviews. The recent drop is just due to fans who are angry about WH3 and has nothing to do with the current state of WH2. WH2 is still a great game to play. Whether or not you want to give the developer and publisher your money in light of their views on customer criticism.. that is another question. The game is great, but right now the company is not. So I recommend this game on its own merits despite having been created by a company that has recently become despicable.

This game is so much better than warhammer 3 and generated huge amounts of good will for Creative Assembly. It's a shame they pissed it away on the mistake that warhammer 3 turned out to be. I hugely recommend buying this game instead of their third attempt as warhammer 2 is so much higher quality.

I enjoyed the game overall. You don't spend 700+ hours on a game you hate. I just sincerely want CA to quit with the DLC oriented development, give us more in the base game.
