Torqued Up Legends
Torqued Up Legends is an arcade style, multiplayer racing game. It is not a realistic racing game. With 20 different Tracks and 20 different cars its has a lot of content. We use a nitro boosting system which allows for cars to Nuke slow or crashed opponents. The nitro is designed to be a recovery tool, a catch up mechanic, and a weapon. Crashes and spin outs happen often and are expected. The game is a kart racer with a flair for real world driving mechanics. The vehicles should be thought of as notorious or infamous personas with out any sort of real world counter part. The vehicle engines are all relatively close in speed and performance and each upgrade simply increases its current stats. We have a large library of cosmetic upgrades, with global leader boards and working towards individual vehicle performance upgrades. We have a ranking and bidding system to make races more competitive and engaging. Your car will explode and your wheels will fly off in hilarious failure. The game is 2 parts frustrating and 3 parts that felt rewarding when things go well.

Information / Review English
Torqued Up Legends is a classic Racing game that was developed by Project 172 and is still in the Early Access Phase.
Gameplay / Story
The gameplay is similar to that of FlatOut, but the focus in this game is more on driving fun. In addition to driving on given routes as quickly as possible, which is usual for racing games, the degree of destruction caused to the environment or the opposing vehicles is often decisive for victory. The game uses a powerful physics engine and exceptionally detailed damage models for a visually appealing representation of the destruction. The elements such as track design and driving physics of the vehicles have their focus on action rather than realism. So z. For example, the use of nitro, which the player receives during a race for causing damage to opponents and the environment, plays a central role. Furthermore, numerous ramps, oil spills and potholes are distributed as obstacles on the routes. The game includes a single player mode and a multiplayer mode.I can't say that much about the multiplayer yet, because I only played it briefly and couldn't test it sufficiently for reasons of time, but I'll do this afterwards in the rating.
Pro
+ Alternative to FlatOut
+ nice graphics
+ Sound noises from the cars
+ great lighting effects
+ colorful mix of racing classes
+ Tutorial introduces you to the game
+ Achievements
Contra
- Control not yet optimally solved
- In-game purchases should follow (does that have to be?)
Conclusion
Torqued Up Legends already offers a solid Racing game of all FlatOut, which is already Fun in the current Phase. It will be interesting to see what will follow.

Information / Review Deutsch
So spielt z.
Pro
+ Alternative zu FlatOut
+ schöne Grafik
+ Soundgeräusche der Autos
+ tolle Lichteffekte
+ bunte Mischung an Rennklassen
+ Tutorial führt dich ins Spiel ein
+ Errungenschaften
Kontra
Fazit

nice graphics & gameplay
physics could be improved... especially when the tires fly off when you power slide & explode... tires should bounce & continue in same direction as the power slide.

Torqued Up Legends
pros:
fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on,
cons:
Locked races require too much grind to unlock.
The AI plays at master level.
Sometimes the same traps can destroy your vehicle multiple times in a row.
good game.

this game is a blast to play, alot of great features and fun cosmetics,
nice to see upcoming features, cars/trucks on the horizon
fun to play with controller or keyboard
graphics arent to bad and the racing mechanics are great,
only thing i would say could be added would be more realistic damage over time features, even if its just cosmetic.
and having a multiplayer server which cant be full filled with bots could be fun too (unsure if it is implemented yet or not as havent been able to find enough for multiplayer. )
and random bot names too
but the pvp aspect of boosting into others to blow them up is always fun hehe
wish there was a highly recommend this game option!

This game has a solid foundation. Overall the physics seems pretty decent. It isn't a hyper realistic racing game and doesn't have crash/damage physics such as a Forza game, but the game is a lot of fun, especially when you are playing with friends. The dev team seems to be updating this game quiet frequently so they seem to care about the game and are making it better with every update.

Game has a lot of potential. I can say the cars are difficult to control going into fast corners, and medium ones. For an arcade feeling racing game i should be able to throw the car into most corners at high speed. Handbrake turning is also kind of hard to control as expected, very difficult to counter steer, and power out of it. Would like to see and upgrade screen in the future, and maybe even an aftermarket for players to sell parts after they upgraded to get rid of old ones. With a used performance debuff. That's just my two cents, and some ideas that i think would be good implementations to the game.
