The Naked Game is a first-person psychological thriller/puzzle/exploration game inspired on real events connected by a strong immersive story of a young Eurasian girl who goes on a trip from Japan, her home country, to France.
One day she wakes up at an unknown, yet familiar place…
Mia was kidnapped and she is trying to escape from the hostile place. However, her journey to freedom is not easy nor straight.The Heroine is forced to seek her memories in order to solve the riddles that the kidnapper prepared for her. Yet not everything is as it seemed at first.

The Naked Game ist ein Erkundungsspiel mit Rätseln, die es zu lösen gilt.
Der Spieler schlüpft in die Rolle einer jungen Frau namens Mia, die nackt in einem Raum aufwacht und kaum was sehen kann. Sobald man es schafft, den Raum zu verlassen, normalisiert sich die Sicht allmählich wieder und man kann was erkennen.
Nun muss Mia ihren Weg durch diese seltsame Gegend finden, die voller nackter Schaufensterpuppen ist, während sie selbst nichts an hat und nur mit einer Lampe ausgestattet ist, die auf Batterie läuft.
Um voran zu kommen muss man Rätsel lösen, während man von der Stimme von Mias Entführer geführt wird. Die Rätsel selbst sind durchaus anspruchsvoll und man braucht schon eine Weile, um drauf zu kommen.
Das Spiel ist in jeder Hinsicht ein Walking-Simulator, denn es gibt keine Möglichkeit in dem Spiel zu sterben. Obwohl die Protagonistin nackt und hilflos in einem unbekannten Ort gefangen ist, gibt es eigentlich keinen Grund sich zu fürchten, denn das Spiel ist hauptsächlich ein Puzzlespiel und enthält keine Feinde. Das Spiel ist außerdem überraschend kurz wenn man für die Puzzles nicht zu lange braucht.
Visuell sieht das Spiel nicht allzu gut aus und die Greifmechanik ist nicht nur schlecht gemacht, sondern wird auch so gut wie nie gebraucht. Nur bei einem Puzzle, wo man einen Spiegel vorhalten musste, war diese Mechanik wirklich nützlich.
Ich kann das Spiel jedenfalls nur Spielern empfehlen, die eine Schwäche für Puzzles haben. Aber selbst dann würde ich davon abraten das Spiel zum vollen Preis zu kaufen, denn dafür hat das Spiel einfach nicht ausreichend Inhalt und lässt auch technisch etwas zu wünschen übrig. Daher kann ich das Spiel nur als mittelmäßig bewerten.
