ANNOUNCEMENTS
How The Expanse turned me into a Game Developer
I started with being a VR designer on The Expanse TV show in 2017 (season 3) onwards to making my own games. For both game development and VR simulations (for TV) I use Unity as the gaming engine.
spent 4 years on The Indigo Parallel and I am very passionate about it. While carefully listening to feedback from testers I strive to make the best and most unique game possible. I also want to thank all The Expanse fans who are showing interest in my game.
About the Game
Inspired by the captivating visuals and surreal gameplay of LSD: Dream Emulator and the narrative experimentation of The Stanley Parable, The Indigo Parallel offers a fascinating, immersive experience that is both strange and exhilarating. What truly sets The Indigo Parallel apart is its procedural nature. The game changes dynamically depending on the choices you make, so every playthrough is completely unique.
In addition to its mind-bending visuals and compelling narrative, The Indigo Parallel is also filled with simple but interesting puzzles that challenge your problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. These puzzles are woven seamlessly into the game’s narrative, creating a cohesive and immersive experience that keeps you engaged and intrigued throughout your journey.
Each element of this game, from the hieroglyphics to game play, the textures to the models, has been created through years of passion by a solo developer.
Be prepared, this game is weird.
Key features:
- Non-linear gameplay with branching pathways, filled with hidden features.
 - Levels that are altered by choices made, making each playthrough different.
 - Beautiful and immersive environmental storytelling.
 - Stunning soundtrack featuring music by J Ryan Halpenny and Decima1.

This game is beautiful. I love it so much. it is for sure not for everyone, but it is for me. It is similar to the Stanley parable and LSD: dream emulator but it's just so... good. it has some really zen moments, some scary moments, and even moments of awe, filled with mystery and aincient runes are scattered around the map (that you can actually translate). I watched a video review of this game about 4 years ago, before i had a PC, and forgot about it. 4 years later, on a reddit post, someone mentioned a game called indigo paralell and i said "THATS IT!!!" i bough it and... well. BUY THIS GAME OH MY GOD

I have no fkn idea what this game is about or if I'm playing it 'right' but it sure is fun as heck

I swear to god this game is turning me into that one pepe silvia meme. I am taking screenshots every other second, I'm taking notes, there's this weird alphabet the game uses to hide messages and I'm decoding THOSE constantly, all in an effort to make some kinda sense outta this. And it FEELS like there's sense in this game, the names "Tom" and "Daisy" are brought up constantly, there's this evil virtual entertainment company whose name keeps popping up, there's these alien thingies with weird eyeballs and tentacles that show up in many forms, actually theres a NEVERENDING amount of eye imagery throughout the whole game, and its all so specific that I feel like it HAS to mean something. Does it? Am I going crazy? Is the dev trolling me with lore that isn't there!? I have no idea but I'm having a blast either way.
If you're looking to buy this yourself, I will say that this, whatever it is, is barely a game. There's a few clunky shooting sections and some decent puzzles, but those are an utter side note. What you'll be doing 90% of the time is walking through this drugged up hellscape, trying to find ways of interacting with it that will take you to the NEXT hellscape on your tour. But the atmosphere, the spectacle, the little lore nuggets hiding in plain sight, they all have me in a choke hold. I adore this game that's barely a game. It is just straight. Up. Art.

I have been glaring for about a minute at this description page trying to figure out what to write.
On one hand, it's a surreal, dream-exploration game with recurring elements and fun, innovative ideas. It's practically undocumented (At the time of writing there is no wiki for this game), which is one of the best things that can happen for a dream game. You will get lost. You will not know how to reach more secrets. You will simply... explore.
On the other, the recurring elements make many places just... blend in. It eventually gets tiring to explore, since wherever you go you'll see those goopy textures, mushrooms, and eyes. The most memorable places, places i instantly remember, are unsurprisingly those which do not have these objects littered all over them.
It's like a dream game with no identity, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, that by itself makes it one of the most realistic dream games out there, though I can't say it benefits the overall quality. After 5 hours, I feel as though i have already seen everything readily accessible to me, and can't figure out where i could possibly branch out to see more things. Some fun things are added like the insanity meter, which unfortunately ends up being more of a headache than anything (another instance of The Indigo Parallel being extremely realistic, while sacrificing quality).
In the end, i can't say it's perfect, but i still recommend it to those who love these types of games. Maybe get it on sale. By far, i'd say the best aspect about it is how, even if you try, you will NOT find any proper guides or info on the achievements or any secrets, so i'd suggest you get it as soon as possible before someone makes one.

Very interesting and expansive game. Performance could use some work but unless you experience motion sickness from low framerates I'd highly recommend powering through for this gem.

I was scared, confused and horny... 10/10 would recommend!!

My favorite thing about this game is that it sorta captures the vibes of like if you were to explore abandoned virtual chat rooms.
Bizarre worlds left behind, only existing for the sake of just being a place to be.
And I wish people made more games like this.
