The Impossible Travel Agency
NEW HALLOWEEN UPDATE: We have released a free update containing a special Halloween version of our experience with all new music. For more details, please see our Recent Update on the release!
Welcome to the Impossible Travel Agency
Travel to a distant world pulsing with life in this beautiful VR experience set to music. As the sun sets and the twin moons rise, luminescent flowers shine while sleek birds glowing with mystical patterns weave ever-changing shapes across the sky. And then, minute by minute, you realize that something miraculous is unfolding before you. All of it builds to a glorious and mysterious climax — and you can only witness all of this thanks to the Impossible Travel Agency, a transporting VR experience for anyone who loves music, beauty, and dreams.
This is a narrative experience in VR lasting six minutes. Once you’ve taken the trip, you can customize it by using your own music and setting the duration to match your favorite album or playlist. The environment will react to your music and the story will adjust to your new duration for a transporting experience with the songs you love.
ITA supports the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets. It also supports the use of tracked motion controllers for both VR platforms but controller usage is optional. You may sit, stand, walk around, or just lie on the floor and look up at the stars.
Available for Arcades on SpringboardVR

Is it long? No. Is it full of content? No. But is it beautiful, and etherial, and gorgeous, and when the night falls it gets even better? Yes.
A few caveats, this is not a game where you will be doing much. This is an experience, think of it like a music video, and if that sounds worth the money to you, jump in.
I personally love this kind of stuff, want more surreal experiences.

This is not a game, but rather an experience.
It's relatively short, but it's pretty. I had hoped that Holospark would continue to make other "Impossible travel destinations, but sadly there is only the one. But there's a little bonus Halloween experience in there.
It's a novelty - one of the earlier VR experiences, I remember thing it was quite breathtaking when I first saw it.
Recommended on sale.

I enjoyed the experience, very relaxing, beautiful environment. However, I was hoping for something more. It builds up, but nothing very interesting happens. I would say the price is a bit steep as well, this experience is worth 3 dollars at most. As a fellow developer, I recommend lowering the price on this a bit.

This is one of those things you may want to use to demo VR to a friend. It's short, it's pretty neat, and it's not likely to cause any motion sickness or distress to the eyes while watching it. However, there's not a whole lot to say about this without me hyping you up to unrealistic expectations.
Pro
Classical Music with positional audio, so it almost feels like you're in the audience of an orchestra
Con
You don't see any orchestra, you just hear the music.
Pro
But saying that, it's kinda like if Disney had decided to fund a very short version of Fantasia for VR.
Con
BUT it's short and it's not as good or as imaginative as Fantasia was (but then again Fantasia had some racist stuff in it too)
Pro
They added some extra content to it since it was first released!
Con
It's a halloween version of the original animation so there's a lot of scenery in common with the original content.
Pro
It's still pretty nifty. I would really like to see a whole series of animations done like this
Con
Most people probably don't care about Classical Music and would probably think $5 is too much to spend on something you would only want to see once or twice maybe.
So that's all the pro's and cons that I can think of, and it's pretty even. I mean, It's pretty cool and if they could have been just a tad more original and imaginative it could have been great "visual trip" material. The worst thing I can say about it was that I spent 15 minutes in the program watching everything and I pretty much saw everything. That's probably why they won't do much more like this.
So anyway, I do recommend it, but it's probably not for everyone, and if you read this far you can probably make up your own mind about whether or not you want to chance it.

As already said this is a 6 minute experiance in one scene with classical music in the background.
When the scene turns to night it really gets beautiful.. just wow :) reminded me a little bit of avatar with the flying rocks and the glowing plants at night.
I just love it and wish to see more :)

Nice little experience similar in concept to The Blu, and also in a similar price bracket (considering this is just one scenario whereas The Blu has three). Where The Blu offers a realistic underwater setting, this one's more of a fantasy/sci-fi one high up in the air. The classical music can be replaced by one's own and the length of the experience adjusted accordingly. Yes, it's only about 6 minutes of content, but I for one am not regretting the purchase. Here's hoping that travel agency will get additional destinations down the road!

Short, sweet, supported for the potential that companies like this deliver for bigger better experienced going forward. Child like, 6 mins, pretty flowers and lights with a flying thing. For two bottles of coke it worth it.
