First of all: Yes the missing stepping sound is a little bit sad.
On the first look this game looks like a cute, funny little game. I mean it is though. The Rythm-Part is sometimes a little bit to fast, but all around it is very good. Storywise... First it seems very lighthearted, but after a few minutes it gets very dark and deep sometimes.
All in all it is a very cool game.
