The Devil’s Womb
The first chapter of the saga, The Devil’s Womb is a free “Made in Italy” classic puzzle adventure-horror title produced by Insane Kat Studio and made with RPG Maker MV.
Part of the story is set during World War ll, more precisely in Krakow.
The protagonist, a girl named Franciszka Jung, is about to undergo the last psychiatric session before discharge. She suffered from various psychotic disorders in the past that led her parents to hospitalize her.
After years of prayers and treatment, that day was the last day for Franciszka: the day before her death.
Franciszka will completely lose the memories of what happened in those last days.
In the meantime, a sweet demon without memories and a past, named Luna, will wake up in a dark place before an ancient and abysmal evil.
How did Luna end up there? Is there any way to get out?
What mysteries are hidden among the inhabitants of that dark place?
What does the mark that Luna bears on her forehead even mean?

Исследование зловещего поместья, пораженного демонической скверной, держит в напряжении от начала и до конца. Графика хоть и не блещет ультрасовременностью, но создает гнетущую атмосферу разрухи и упадка, идеально передавая ощущение безнадежности.
Сюжет, хоть и не отличается особой оригинальностью, но благодаря интересным персонажам и жутковатым находкам в повествовании способен увлечь. Геймплей, ориентированный на сбор ресурсов и решение головоломок, порой кажется несколько затянутым, но необходимость экономить патроны и избегать столкновений с гротескными монстрами добавляет остроты.
"The Devil's Womb" - это игра не для всех. Откровенные сцены насилия и сексуальный контент могут оттолкнуть некоторых игроков. Тем не менее, если вы ищете атмосферный и пугающий хоррор, способный вызвать у вас мурашки по коже, то эта игра вполне может вас заинтересовать. Она берёт своей атмосферой и деталями, а не только скримерами.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME, honestly one of my favorite games, and is 100% my favorite free-to-play game.. I love the creativity of it and all of the unique lore in it! I definitely would recommend this game to people whom love RPG horror games! I also really like the lack of hints when it comes to what to do, as gives more adventure to it, but i also am kinda a person who gets sidetracked and forgets what im suppose to do, which is why the game probably has taken me so long to finish- I did stream the game to my friends and they also loved it!
