A great creepy game with a dark atmosphere.
On your way through the forest it feels always like you are being watched and followed. The graphics are really nice and the dev is quick in response, thanks for that!
I had some questions about a achievement which got solved. 100% completion is possible.
I recommend this game if you like walking and exploring in a dark forest with some little jumpscares.
Overall a very nice experience.

What a pleasant surprise. I wanted to play this game for at least a year now and I'm so glad I finally did.
The game oozes with dark atmosphere, CryEngine 5 makes the game look very realistic. there's no hud so can get totally immersed in the world.
Gameplay itself is your typical walking simulator with emphasis on exploration and no real puzzles, but I think it's what makes it fantastic and allows you to play without ever getting stuck.
Achievements are also easy if that's your sorta thing and anything missed can be quickly unlocked using level select.
Get it if you want to get lost in a dark soviet forest. 8/10.

Highly recommended. Great game if you like an immersive story with a bread crumb trail of reveals. It is set in a great environment where its picturesque beauty is only out weighed by its creepiness. If you are looking for a combat heavy game this is not for you.

This is the kind of game you buy and play during Halloween sale for 4$ CND or less and give it a quick 2.5-3 hour playthrough (unless you really want to find all the collectables/achievements.) The game has nice atmosphere and the environments looks great due to it being made in Cryengine.
For me its completely failed as a "horror game", the monster designs are laughable, a stick girl with a smiley emoticon for a face, a teddy bear with glowing eyes, an a black deer... nothing that will really make you scared. The game makes you take it even less seriously when one of the monster just trolls you, making you hit yourself with a broom cartoon style, at one point jumpscaring you with literally poop.
There is not much to say about it, its a spooky forest game where you mostly walk forward and get more plot by... yes you guessed it, reading notes like every other game. At least the ending tries to give an explanation of this silly video game trope of people leaving notes everywhere for you to learn their private lives.

Pretty good very atmospheric horror adventure.

This game has a lot of problems; it is mainly an exploration game, but areas are big and secrets are sparse. Achievements are fine, I didn't use a walkthrough and found all of them but two on my first playthrough (and the other two I didn't find accidentally, I almost did). However, if you like exploring, like me, there isn't enough in this game to keep you invested with exploration, and you'll end up getting bored. In addition, there is a bug that makes some notes not appear where they should (I'm not even sure why, seems to be a random thing), and you can lose a lot of time searching for them, not realizing it was a bug (if you miss one note on Section 1 and one on Section 4, try restarting the section; also, the last section says there are 9 Sarah letters, but there are only 7, according to developers).
There are a lot of invisible walls, but sadly, paradoxically, not enough: you can reach certain places thinking there may be a secret there, and there was actually nothing there, and you simply shouldn't have been able to reach that. This is pretty problematic, because there really are a couple of secrets you can reach by trying to go off the main paths, and so it's the worst combo: almost nothing nowhere, which discourages exploration, but something actually there in a couple of places, which you probably won't find due to getting tired of not finding anything before.
In addition, loading time is too long, and assets take some time to appear after you are already able to move; it also lags from time to time, but nothing too major.
In spite of all of this, I found it entertaining enough (barely), and liked the atmosphere, and the story (even though it's cliched). If there was a neutral rating, I'd use it here, but, all in all, I've had enough fun with this to recommend it. If you look at my playtime, I clearly took way more time than most people (due to my free exploration), and I have to say that I enjoyed most of that time. The game gets better towards the end, and it also has a little more eerie soundtrack there, which was pretty nice (too bad most of the time you just have sound effects with no music). The story resolution was nice. I think some polishing could make this game way better, but I found enough here to recommend it.
