Every world needs its heroes. However unlikely they may seem. Join Wilbur, Ivo, Nate and Critter in another classic point-and-click adventure in the wicked world of Aventásia. Help them fulfill their destiny. A destiny as yet unwritten. A few years have passed since our heroes heroically defeated the arch-witch Mortroga. And their lives, like the lives of most people in Aventásia, are still in turmoil. The War of the Two Towers is over, but the wounds it left upon the land are still bleeding. The gnome Wilbur Weathervane is struggling with his new job as a teacher at the reopened School for Wizardry and Witchcraft. His magic wand is having a mind of its own and an assassination plot against the arch-mage overshadows the first democratic elections in Seastone.

This is one of the most wholesome and brilliant adventure games ever! And I know a thing or two about those.
Not having the third part is one of the regrettable crimes of the modern humanity.

its ok. a silly little point and click. I couldnt be bothered to play untill the end, the first one is much better, even though the character are pretty much the same.
I dont know, its silly, but its bland, joke just didnt land for me. but its not bad.

Excellent, long and varied point-and-click adventure game with excellent art, variety so you don't get bored, 'hard-enough' puzzles, clever / funny writing (such as when you use the wrong object on the wrong thing, which some games are extremely lazy about), and you play as multiple different characters. I didn't enjoy the opening area, but then I fell for the game fully until the end. Strongly recommended.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 1 and 2 are some of the only point-and-click adventure-games that managed to give me the same feeling, the lucasarts games did back in the 90ties. They are fun and funny, they are charming. The puzzles could have been a little more challenging, but for me the humour makes the journey absolutely worthwhile.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is an absolute masterpiece of the point-and-click genre. The humor is spot on, the world is beautiful, and the characters are a delight. Highly recommended!

I absolutely adored this game (and the prequels). I wish I could play it again for the first time. I can't think of one negative thing about playing this game. I loved everything about it- the graphics, the voice acting, the humor...it actually made you care about the characters. ANIMATED characters, even! I can't say enough about this series.
