The music and art are absolutely on point, and that's absolutely why you and I are here.
But the writing is a bit menial - not bad but kinda predictable & tropey in a seen-that-coming-from-a-mile-off kinda way + the odd leftover unresolved plot thread or two.
Plus, the religious theming and moral preaching may or may not sit right with you, for more than one reason - both strongly religious and atheist progressive people will find plenty to poke holes into...
The puzzles are alright - fairly standard and no Sierra moon logic.
Though as is usually the case for P&C Adventure games, the prologue has by far the best item based puzzles and the densest array of puzzles, npcs and interactions. It tapers off towards the end a lot, and making a grappling hook from rope/wire and a random bit of scenery works once, not in every chapter...
Engaging for an evening, vibing to the style and music, but nothing I'd recommend for full price.

A cool point&click that plays more like an interactive graphic novel than anything else (it's exceedingly easy, especially for fans of the genre). However, the artwork and story are endearing enough to motivate you till the end.

I would give this game an "Informational" rating if I could.
The art style is simply AMAZING. A tremendous amount of effort has clearly gone into creating the various comic pages that tell the story. There are TONS of panels, each one incredibly well crafted, often dynamic and featuring unusual perspectives.
The problem lies in the writing. I don't want to sound too harsh; story-wise, it's an action-oriented narrative, so I wasn't expecting a literary masterpiece. However, the characters are not particularly well written. You often get the impression that it's always the same person speaking through different characters. Even the protagonist, who is supposed to be a dark and lonely apostle, sometimes sounds like a 20-year-old kid.
The gameplay is decent: a traditional adventure game with an inventory and puzzles to solve. It's not particularly inspired, but it can keep you entertained for a few hours.

Really fantastic artwork, great sound design, and interesting world building.
This was a pleasure to play through and was paced really well.
The UI and some of the puzzles have some issues, but they're easy to over look.

I love the sketchy handdrawn look of this point and click adventure game. It really makes me feel nostalgic for north american comics in 2006-2008. The environments feel lived in, I love all of the clubs, the aesthetics and people you can talk to or observe. I haven't fully finished this, but I'm really enjoying the story and the characters and haven't encountered any bugs either.
