You cry, throw poop, die a thousand times... and come back for more. Every run is like a Kinder Surprise: you either get something awesome or end up in hell with your build.
10/10 – best tear therapy ever.

This is a great game. Each run is randomly generated and it only takes about 30 minutes to an hour to play through the game, win or lose. Then you start at the beginning. However, there are so many different items so it never feels like you played the same run twice. There are lots of different paths to take as well. So many unlockable items and endings... It's just an endlessly replayable game. 10/10

One of the greatest indies on Steam. Limitless roguelike enjoyment. You will be turn around 1000 hours later, and still enjoy every run. Buy the game.

isaac has been a part of me for every chapter of my life. i always come back to it or more precisely, it always comes back to me. at my lowest and at my highest, isaac has been the backbone of my being. im afraid without it, i wouldnt have been able to type this right now. really thankful for edmund and the team for bringing us this gem of a game. isaac has been the perfect stand in for me, as of typing this right now im in the rebirth journey of my life. and hopefully just like isaac, i can find peace with myself and have the strength to shape my story just like in repentance.

Thought it was a game about a sad boy.
Now I have 70 hours, 700 deaths, and no idea what any of the items do.
10/10 – I don’t know what's happening, but it’s beautiful.

The game is great, you might get addicted, you might know a lot more about random diseases that most people have never heard of, you might know a lot more about Christianity than you ever wanted to, the Persona specialist dance might pavlov you irl. Worth it. 10/10
