In the first-person puzzle game that would go on to inspire Portal 2, Tag: The Power of Paint puts you behind the barrel of a spray paint gun with very unusual abilities. Depending on which color you use, the player can bounce off, speed over, or stick to the level’s surfaces. Combine paint powers to platform your way to the end of each mind-bending stage.
- Bounce, rush, and climb your way to victory!
- Puzzle your way through nine mind-bending stages!
- Combine paint types for the ultimate parkour experience!
This game was developed as a student project at DigiPen Institute of Technology and was created for educational purposes only. Please check out our publisher page for more information.

A bit tedious how many of the puzzles aren't really puzzles and just 2paint two walls there in order to jump up" but after all these years it's still a fun little playthrough. Give it a go but make sure to play in windowed mode since the game tends to crash a lot

sehr kurzes (zumindest beim zweiten Mal durchspielen), doch sehr spaßiges/ kurzweiliges Spiel
kann es jedem empfehlen

Zuerst war der Ersteindruck ziemlich negativ da kein Options-Menü, aber das Spiel an sich ist okay. Umsonst sowieso.

I dont know how I managed to stumble upon this gem - however, I do know that this game blew my mind
At first I expected a jet set radio inspired game with the graphics, overall premise and title fitting the bill. But this game has so much charm and creativity packed into such a small package that I cant rest without having made a comment on it.
The campaign is fairly short - I managed to beat it in just about 40 minutes
You have three colours at your disposal, which you unlock further into the levels
Now, the interesting part is that for each colour, your character will do a different action.
The puzzles are just right and accomplish the colours quite well
My favourite part have to be the credits, definitely going into my favourites

Offers a lot for a free game
fun puzzles, some whacky physics, a little bit of replayability and interesting elements in every level.
This could go a long way with some lore, some adjustments here and there and mybe a map editor
overall worth the $0 I paid for this
