nice concept.
It's an sp game but gameplay is similar to the game the first descendant.
It's clear that the dev didnt have huge funds and it shows but they made the best of it.
I wish they'd make a second game but had bigger funding.

This game was actually way better than I thought it'd be. It has its flaws, of course, we'll talk about that, but for now, the good things.
The game is pretty, they used an art-style that just works, and it will even in 10 years. The gameplay was fun, at least it was for me, the movement is smooth and the feel of the gun was neat. You have a lot of weapon categories ranging from laser swords like in the anime, handguns, to miniguns and rocket launchers. You level up your character, gaining character points that you can use to give attributes, that will give more health, defense and whatever.. It also serves as a requirement to equip certain weapons. You also get a large selection of skills and gadgets to make your loadout unique.
As always in SAO games, you get an affection bar for each characters, filling it gives you little interactions with them. It's fun to learn about the characters, but except for this and giving you the true ending, I don't think it does anything more than that, so if you're just into playing the game, you won't have to focus on this.
Now, onto what bugs me with this game, first, the sensitivity is horrible, I played with a controller, but I wanted to go with a mouse and keyboard at first but just couldn't get the sensitivity I wanted, even at the lowest it was still too high. It's less bothersome with a controller, so you might want to play with that (you get some kind of aim assist built in the game that you can turn on and off, it makes sense if you watched the anime, but it's explained in the game if you didn't, it was annoying at first but I started to appreciate it with time).
Another setting you might want to play with, playing with the voices turned off was a great upgrade for me. It's nice to hear them but having my teammates moaning and screaming in my ears at every little action during fights, yeah.. I just turned them off completely.
For the best experience, play this game on easy first, there is a big gap in difficulty with the other ones. You'll be able to change them whenever you want to.
As for the grind, my brother this is a grindy game, not going to lie, at one point, I just gave up and asked someone to help me with XP. I wanted to get the achievements and after getting the true ending, last thing I wanted was 100 hours of farm.
To sum up everything, this game is worth it. You don't need to know anything about the anime to appreciate it, you get the general plot of the anime but with a lot of twists to it. It took me 100 hours to get all the achievements, but it will take you more if you level up solo.

Easily the best Sword Art Online game. Super fun, fast, and faced paced just like GGO is in SAO II. It feels little grindy at times, but I just put on some music and go at it. If you are concerned with the price, simply pick it up off of CDKeys, you can get it for like 8 dollars with all the DLC.
If you are a fan of the show, This is the SAO game you want to play.

a decent game, with a cliche story, and fucked control/key mapping for pc but dunno why still enjoyable to play
if you are the fanboy/fangirl of SAO and ever think of "If im in that game, i will defeated kirito easily". then this game is for you. even so, this game just have problem in the key mapping but since i have external controller is not too bad.
yeah, is not for someone who will get bored fast for repetitive gameplay. so that why i dont really recommend this game except youre the fans of this anime series

At some point i had an SAO period during which i tried all SA games, fatal bullet is the best game out off them all hands down. not a master piece but it has a very relaxing gameplay loop which lets you just hop in and shoot things and chill without thinking too hard. only SAO game i dont mind returning to every so often.

I have played it before on console, Loved the game played over 300 hours on there and now on PC I have much more control over the shooting. I enjoyed the story a lot and I like the multiplayer and the helpful skilled players. But I do think this game has more potential if the devs put in a little work

This game is fun because you don't have to play as that stereotypical of early edgy type of weebs (read : Kirito).
