Supraland is a First-Person Metroidvania Puzzle game. The main sources of inspiration are Zelda, Metroid and Portal. Supraland assumes that you are intelligent and lets you play independently. The story is minimal, gives you an overarching goal to pursue, and then sets you free. You explore a large interconnected world in which most ways are at first unpassable until you find new abilities to overcome those obstacles. A cornerstone of Supraland’s design was to create abilities that are so versatile, they will keep on surprising you by how many different usages they have. If you combine your abilities, the possibilities become even bigger. Most of the game is about exploring the sandbox world to track down secrets. Often you will think you are about to get out of bounds and beat the level designer, but right there is a chest waiting for you with a very rewarding upgrade. Supraland respects your lifetime and doesn’t bloat the playtime with unlimited no-brainer collectibles.

I was looking through my wishlist when I noticed this game was on sale. It looked like a cute puzzle game, so I thought, “Why not give it a try?” I was pleasantly surprised because the game turned out to be incredibly charming and enjoyable.
At first, the game starts a bit slow. However, as you progress, you unlock various upgrades that are not only fun but also useful. One of the upgrades that I liked the most was the magnet. It was such a clever addition, and it completely pulled me into the game.
I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about Supraland. It was such a delightful experience, and I’m looking forward to playing the sequel. Overall, if you enjoy games that are similar to Portal or Metroidvania style, you should buy this game as soon as possible! It’s well worth it!

Supraland is one of those hidden gems that completely surprised me. At first glance, it looks simple, but once you dive in, you realize how clever, creative, and rewarding it actually is. The mix of exploration, puzzles, and combat is spot-on, and the world is full of secrets that make you constantly want to experiment.
What I really enjoyed is how the game encourages curiosity. Almost every time I thought, “Can I actually do this?”, the answer was yes — and I was rewarded for trying. It’s rare to find a game that trusts the player this much.
Even though it’s an indie title, it has the charm and depth of a big release. If you enjoy games that spark your imagination and let you discover things at your own pace, Supraland is absolutely worth it.

Also, I'm now convinced that I'm not smart enough to breathe properly...

This is one of THE MOST slept on games Ive ever seen.
Think of it as portal but instead of portals you have a truckload of abilities the game slowly introduces you to.
The Story is a bit weird and not really important to much but atleast there is one. (I totally forgot why I had to do what the game asked me to at the end of the game)
The puzzles are really creative and some are pretty hard to figure out too. not to hard for it to be unfair though. EXCEPT FOR ONE
thats also one of my only two complaints I have about the game, the final boss and no colorblind option.
for the final boss: without spoiling anything the boss uses most of your abilities in some combination, nothing new so far. The problem is that it uses some really weird and in some cases even new combinations that the game never told you about before or which have been implied that they shouldnt even work in the first place. Total disaster of an ending for such a great game.
about the colorblindness: The game utilizes color for its puzzles quite a lot, especially for recoloring objects and finishing patterns. The fact that they dont seem to have a colorblind mode at all is a bit weird to me.
A puzzle which is completely normal and easy for most is almost impossible for someone who is colorblind.
for one puzzle I had to be in a vc with a friend who told which color Im holding and which one I needed and for another I had to blatantly brute force my way through.
so if youre colorblind this is definitelly something to watch out for
other than that I really have no problems with it whatsoever. great pacing, really creative puzzles/areas, fun abbilaties, insane humor and self reflectance.
All in All it was a solid 9/10 for me

A very good, comprehensive puzzle game! Enemies and bosses are also included, of course, to make it a bit more extensive and interesting. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a bit of puzzles, exploration, and secrets.
