Summary

Joltzsi (Jolt-see) is a highly addictive action puzzle game that builds off of some of the great classic predecessors such as Columns, Puyo Puyo and particularly Tetris.

While it may appear to have much in common with Tetris its “stacking feature” of stacking numbers on top of each other and clearing them adds an extra element of strategy and various ways to approach play.

Gameplay

Layer “falling” tetrominoes on top of each other from either a 2d Top Perspective or Isometric 3d perspective.

Cells in your grid will increase incrementally, from 1 to 4.

Make line clears by matching the same value vertically and horizontally.

Score big by clearing higher values and multiple lines BUT pieces can fall fast, and going above 4 is “Game Over”.

Can you get a Joltzi?

If you’re big in the Tetris community you know that making a “Tetris” involves clearing all four lines at once, and that is challenging enough but can you clear 4 lines of 4 layers in a Joltzi match? Show that you can to prove you are one of the best arcade puzzle gamers on the planet!

Compare yourself to others by trying to reach the top of multiple leaderboards, Joltzi is very inspired by the NES Competitive Tetris community and we plan to release regular leaderboard types with community based timed tournaments post launch.
