Steam User 3
The gameplay mechanics here are extremely solid, and extremely fun. Messing around with size-changing blocks, the layers of strategy that the different weapons provide, choosing the play as an agent of chaos with the goal of tossing around blocks until 3 like-colors rub up against eachother, all very fun. The Rogue-like elements are meaningful which is a struggle for a lot of games. For instance, the shield alone adds so much to how you approach each enemy, and completely changes how one run looks compared to another, even though at the end of the day you're playing silly-Tetris. I felt genuine accomplishment when I finished a run, and my victories felt earned.
Graphical polishing, and presentation need work, but while I meant to play for ONE hour, I ended up playing for four. Solid core game here.
