About the GameThe system of Magnetia is in great peril as an evil villain tears through the galaxy. It’s all down to one robot explorer to save the day – Magbot!
Armed with the power to control both positive (red) and negative (blue) magnetic polarities, Magbot must navigate through a myriad of challenging platforming environments to save his home planet of MagTek.
Use Magnetic Force to Attract: Use the power of magnetic attraction to pull yourself towards platforms and across perilous pitfalls.
Use Magnetic Force to Repel: Magbot is too heavy to jump! Luckily you can use the power of magnetic repulsion to boost yourself through the air!
Collect Star Fragments: Master each level by collecting hard-to-reach star fragments that unlock additional challenges.
Enjoy Classic Gaming Vibes: With vibrant 16-bit style pixel art and an energetic chiptune soundtrack by Moonsailor.

12,5 /20, good platforming game but expect very tricky core gameplay mechanics ! I'd only recommand it to players who enjoy very demanding platforming games.
DETAILED NOTATION :
*Graphics (graphic design / graphics technical quality) : 3/3, very well put GBA-like graphics
*Sound (music / sound design) : 2/3, nice chiptune soundtrack, however nothing striked me as memorable (but didn't get to listen to most of the ost)
*Functionality (menus / UI) : 2/3, basic but functional, nothing more really needed for this type of game
*Story (ambience / narration / engagement / ending) : 1/3, almost absent, which at least isn't too bad for this kind of game. Note that I didn't play past approximately 1/4 of the game so I may have missed out on interesting things.
*Short-term gameplay (originality / smoothness / difficulty balance) : 2/3, original approach to platforming but very tricky. Somewhat unbalanced, with some specific parts of a level being way more difficult than others
*Long-term gameplay (engagement / progression / gameplay diversity / collections / secrets) : 2/3, from what I've seen there's lots of levels and collectibles, and different ways of using the bases of the gameplay gets added in next worlds
*Personal enjoyment (from -2 to +2) : 0.5, discovering and trying to learn the gameplay was fun, but it got way too tricky for me in the first of 4 worlds. I couldn't really get the grip of the right stick being so important on a platformer, and as someone whose fingers can hurt quickly on controller games, using repeatedly only the same 2 buttons wasn't comfortable

J'ai passé un bon moment (non, pas du tout, c'est DUR bordel et souvent frustrant), mais mécanique sympa !
