I really wish Steam allowed for a "mixed" option. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game, but it's very hard to recommend this game outright.
Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a mix between the party, rhythm, puzzle, and action genres. It's a truly unique take on rhythm games, but the rhythm portion is not the sole focus, and if you come in expecting a more traditional experience like Guitar Hero, Osu!, DDR, or Beat Saber, you will be in for a surprise. There does exist a more traditional rhythm game mode within the game, but it is very simple and does not include any kind of "training" features you would find from other games in the genre. This mode is also locked behind some progression, so by the time you reach it, I would say you would know whether or not you will enjoy the game.
Niche. Love or hate. These two phrases succinctly sum up this game. It's in a niche of a niche all its own and you will either love it or hate it, there is no in between. Try the demo, watch some playthroughs, this is not a game you "get" at a glance, you have to experience it to some degree to really get what it's about and the first few levels will give you a good idea.
If you're an achievement hunter, this game is of moderate difficulty if you're decent at rhythm games, with some key exceptions. This game is tailored for the casual experience more than anything, so some of the levels are incredibly frustrating and will make you question many of the design decisions made with this game if you're aiming to "complete" it rather than just "beat" it. Level 14.... These issues are much less pronounced to unnoticable if you're not a neurotic e-trophy goblin like me.
It may seem like I'm complaining more than anything, but I do love this game. It has great art, a bunch of really appealing and well made characters, enjoyable dialouge , a great and varied soundtrack, and a good deal of the gameplay is fun, even if some of it was intentionally designed to frustrate you.
Overall "recommend", I had lots of fun, its a great game, but really play the demo before you buy. It's unique, but it's not for everyone.

If you ain't wigglin your ziggle at the end... then you're doing something wrong.
10/10 masterpiece for rhythm game fans.
9/10 very solid 2 person co-op game. Many stages might be trivialized by having 3-4 people, but if your partner isn't much of a gamer that might be perfect for you.

Great rhythm game to play with friends. The songs start off pretty easy then really ramp up by the end of the game. My only complaint is the chests to unlock all the songs requires perfection of every other single song first.
If you're into rhythm games pick it up for sure!

Pros:
-Notes are pretty forgiving
-Should be fun in multiplayer (my friends are losers who don't really play games like this)
-Neat artwork and responsive keys
Cons:
-Music selection is just not my taste
-Some levels are very tedious
-Biggest gripe about this game (which I understand is just a skill issue) is when you let go of a long/hold note, even if it's only for a split second, it'll count as a mistake. And some of the songs have very tight timing between notes. Popular rhythm games such as DDR and Guitar Hero doesn't ding you for that, you just won't be able to reach maximum score is all. I also don't like some of the note patterns in certain songs. They get very awkward for the hand and tbh it happens for a lot of the songs (Note: I am playing on the pro (4 lane) difficulty).
Great game overall though

I don't think I've ever written a review before, but this game deserves it. I've never played a whole ton of rhythm games before, but this one grabbed my attention. A rhythm game with witty writing, a clear and present story that doesn't overstay it's welcome and is just the right amount of funny and absurd, and a WILD art style that is so incredibly varied and inconsistent that it's always a joy to look at and discover new areas. The music choices though? Top, f*cking, tier. There's such a wild range of genres and artists, and the music always fits to the level you're playing. Oh but if you're thinking it's just a regular old rhythm game, get f*cking ready because you better be ready to multitask/use teamwork to beat all the levels. If you liked Overcooked or Moving out, imagine playing that, while also having to keep the house you're playing in lit by powering it by playing a rhythm game off to the side. Also imagine if you will that the rhythm game is easy to start, but actually difficult later on. Like, I played with a person that's played rhythm games for a long time, and the Pro level songs in this game kicked his as$. If you want a game to play with your friends, or just an incredible rhythm game, please for the love of f*ck play this game. The devs deserve so much support and money for all of the work that obviously went into this game. Play it

The combat complexity of Elden Ring, the smoothness of transition from cutscene to gameplay of God of War Ragnarok, the depth and storyline of Baldur's Gate 3, all elements, blended into a mixture of beautiful goodness that can only be described as the water from the Holy Grail our lord Jesus Christ himself has tasted.

Good co-op game. The game is like DDR/Guitar Hero with the main levels having some random gimmicks (like a time attack puzzle, spinning arena)
