You’re playing as a demoness called by lay occultists. During the summoning ritual, they made a mistake and raised the dead, while turning themselves into zombies.
Now you have to return home by jumping to other worlds through portals, all while making your way through the hordes of the undead.
What’s the game all about?
It’s a simple campaign-style, third-person shooter.
Shoot zombies and other monsters to move to other worlds. Defeat all the bosses guarding the portals.
As you progress through the game, look for new weapons and hidden ammo. Use them sparingly:
it’s not so easy to beat the undead in combat.

Hi all o7
The game offers EXACTLY what it has in it's description.
I don't know why the soy latte drinkers left negative reviews.
Maybe they wanted full hentai nudity... who knows what goes through their 2 brain cells.
It's a bit fun for a short time.
I finished 2 levels and got bored.
LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE! o7

Barely working shooting mechanics, hitting enemies hardly gives feedback. Aiming don't feel good & I don't think there's bullet calculation in the game. You just aim in general direction & hope for the best. But for free it's acceptable. It works as a game & i got good time spent in it. Of course have lower expectation & If u can't bear the 1st stage, u won't for the next one. It don't get any better. Would be better if the enemy got hitpoint bar, it's annoying when they get up behind me after seeing them fall. Just let the player know they're not dead yet.

this is the best anime indie shooter ive played, good graphics, hair physics and footprints. and the game is semi challenging and not super easy.

After you adjust the aim sensitivity as well as the X and Y axis Succubus With Guns turns into a relatively enjoyable retro 3rd person shooter with a bit of jank to contend with!
As a summoned succubus emerging from a botched ritual you realize you have been brought into a post apocalyptic dark fantasy setting where magic elementals, deadly giant insects, mutants, technology enhanced government experiments, miffed fairies, and undead roam the wasteland of a barely recognizable earth.
Though you start with just a bow and arrows a convenient crafting system lets you build more effective fire-arms and melee weapons from orbs dropped by the creatures you slaughter. (At least in Endless mode) Otherwise you find armaments at a decent pace as you gradually build upon your arsenal.
When you die a respawn clock ticks down whilst your astral body can collect red orbs to increase your health bonus upon resurrection.
The core experience is strictly a horde-wave styled slaughter-fest whereas endless mode allows you to set traps and set up gun turrets to deal with the encroaching baddies.
What separates this effort from the atypical "waifu versus genre" is the very distinctly Heavy-Metal-Magazine vibe that straddles somewhere between atypical end-of-the-world-zombie-schlock as well as Lovecraftian horror. It is obvious the dev is a person of culture!
(Also go into Succubus With Guns knowing this is a "fan service game" and not an "eroge game". Plenty of cheese-cake but no naughty fun time!)
Pros
+ A summoned demoness makes for an interesting protagonist. (A tongue in cheek inverse of the Doom-guy!)
+Decent crafting system
+Environments succeed at portraying the post apocalyptic dark fantasy themes.
+ Enemy variety is appreciated. I'm glad the dev threw in certain monster-types beyond zombo/skelly-cannon-fodder.
+The biomes of each level remain interesting and varied throughout. There were some unexpected destinations I did not see coming!
+Base game is free and the dlc is very affordable!
Cons
-Asset flip that uses familiar stuff found in other games of a similar ilk.
-You have to toggle the aim sensitivity/A & Y axis to get the shooting just right.
-Wish at least a minuscule amount of ambition was put into lore, world building, and character development. I understand you don't need any of that to make a game playable and fun but that extra effort is usually appreciated! Even if it is just scattered notes and found diaries to read it increases the immersion factor exponentially.
-Encountered a bug where I triggered an enemy behind a locked door soft locking my progress. Fortunately when I revisited that area again during a consecutive play-thru it did not happen twice. (I get the impression enemies spawning out of bounds is a problem that will rear its' ugly head once in awhile.)
-In addition to weapons it would have been nice if the succubus developed her demon powers. Aka,sucking the remaining life force out of her foes, summoning imp minions to aid her on the battlefield, doing powerful slash attacks with her claws, belching hell-fire after eating spicy tacos, being able to glide short distances after growing her wings out, etc. Kind of a missed opportunity.
Overall
To me there's a relaxing circadian rhythm flow to these amateur "dev's first shooter" type of projects. A piece of entertainment that delivers on a straight-forward enjoyable premise minus any pretentious current-year-politics or excessive virtue-signaling. Appreciate that perky succubutt strut while having a blast using a menagerie of different weapons to mow-down waves of rag-dolling fools and freaks to the sound of their shrieks! There are times that's really all you need!
How I judge games
Obviously small-time-indie games are judged by a more forgiving standard than AAA games with huge teams and big budgets behind them. Primarily my main concerns are whether or not I had fun and whether or not the game has any game-breaking or save corrupting bugs that pop up frequently.
I'm not selling you false hype that "Succubus with guns" is a Doom or Resident Evil killer. But I was able to enjoy its' contents thus it fulfilled its' promise as advertised!
Not every game has to push a graphics card, have celebrity voice acting,or "innovate everything" to be a good time......

It was pretty cool. A cute Succubus running through different locations and killing hordes of enemies.
The gameplay is interesting and very fast. You will always be attacked by zombies, skeletons with bows and big guys. But don't worry, you have enough weapons to smash them all. The levels are quite similar but sometimes the places are very unique and beautiful.
And the main thing why we all are here - the physics. You can run, jump or move and those cute buns and breasts will bounce too. Incredible view.
I played a lot of similar games and mostly hate them. But this one is decent, with nice optimization and beautiful graphics this game is worth playing.
If you read the review and liked it, don't forget to give it a thumbsup;)The further - The better♥️
