Streets of Rogue is a rogue-lite about player choice, freedom, and anarchic fun. The game takes inspiration from fast-paced top-down rogue-lites like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, and adds free-form, experimentation-driven, emergent gameplay elements of RPGs like Deus Ex. Rather than taking place in a dungeon, the game is set in a functioning, procedurally generated city, where complex AI informs denizens from all walks of life, who are just trying to get by in their daily activities. In order to progress, the player will need to accomplish specific mission goals in any way they see fit through use of their special character traits, items, and the environment.

Schönes Spiel. Ich hatte als Kind einen C64 und mein Kumpel hatte auch einen Amiga, daher mag ich Pixel-Art Spiele. Ich fühle mich in meine Kindheit zurückversetzt. Dieses Spiel hat es mir aktuell angetan. Es bietet alle Möglichkeiten moderner Spiele: Viele verschiedene Charaktere und viele Handlungsmöglichkeiten und es ist lokal mit mehreren Leuten spielbar. Leider habe ich noch Niemanden gefunden der mitspielt. 🥺 Von mir trotzdem 5 Sterne und ich warte schon auf den zweiten Teil. 🤗☀️

Kurzweilig und jeder Character bietet eine komplett andere Spielweise. Man schießt sich allerdings nur zu schnell auf den Lieblingscharacter ein.

Well... only 4 Hours in and we already love it.
I looked for a game i can play with my better half. The number off moments we looked at each other and knew; "YES this will be the next game we will play obsessive in the future.", in this short amount of time happens not a lot of times.
All here feels right.
I had to turn off the shaking, but you can! ; and that is a huge plus point.
Also; You can decide about the split screen options when you play with 2 players (or more)
That is a huge one too for me.
So far i love the chaos-Gameplay style with so much details in the Characters and co.
It feels like a true labor of love after only 4 Hours.
I will writhe a more detailed review later after -hopefully- more Hours of surprises and fun

Ein echt gutes Rogue-Lite Game auch wenn ich sagen muss das es mit manchen Charaktären echt knüppel schwer ist in einem Rutsch durch das Spiel zu kommen.
