Es ist schon etwas länger her, dass ich Stray gespielt habe, doch es bleibt mir nach wie vor in guter Erinnerung. Man spielt eine Katze, reicht das nicht schon? :)
Zwar ist das Spiel sehr linear (und daher wohl auch in unter zwei Stunden durchspielbar), doch man sollte sich zumindest im ersten Durchgang die Zeit nehmen und die detailreich gestaltete Spielwelt erkunden.
Die Atmosphäre hatte mich schnell eingefangen und ich habe in jeder Etappe (sofern es möglich war) mehrere Rundgänge gemacht. Von mir aus hätte man auch auf die wenigen Actioneinlagen verzichten und Schleich- oder weitere Rätselpassagen daraus machen können - wäre für mich auch in Ordnung gewesen.
Noch immer habe ich das Spiel installiert, weil mir die letzte Errungenschaft für den Speedrun fehlt. Aber ich glaube, die werde ich nie bekommen.
Sollte ich das Spiel von vorn anfangen, würde ich dort den 'Miau'-Button spammen, Dinge zerkratzen, aus Pfützen trinken, Sachen von Tischen werfen und auf Dächer klettern - eben all das, was eine Katze so macht.
Ach ja, und natürlich in jeder passenden Ecke ein Nickerchen halten. <3

Wundervolles Spiel. Die Katze ist super animiert. Details sind liebevoll umgesetzt. Vielen Dank an die Produzenten des Spiels.

Selten schafft es ein Spiel, mich so schnell in seinen Bann zu ziehen wie Stray. Man schlüpft in die Rolle einer streunenden Katze und erkundet eine düstere, aber wunderschön gestaltete Cyberpunk-Welt, die vor Atmosphäre nur so strotzt. Die Grafik ist nicht nur technisch beeindruckend, sondern auch visuell einfach ein Genuss – jede Ecke wirkt durchdacht, jede Location strotzt vor Details, jedes Level bietet eine einzigartige Optik.

Was das Spiel aber wirklich besonders macht, sind das Art-Design und die Story: Es ist nicht nur stilvoll, sondern erzählt auf subtile Weise eine Geschichte, die ans Herz geht. Fast ohne Worte entsteht eine Verbindung zur Welt und ihren Bewohnern – vor allem zur kleinen Drohne B-12, die einen begleitet. Die Story ist ruhig, aber emotional stark und bleibt lange im Kopf.

Auch spielerisch wird’s nie langweilig. Stray überrascht immer wieder mit neuen Ideen, cleveren Rätseln und charmanten Details, die das Katzendasein perfekt einfangen. Mal schleicht man durch dunkle Gassen, mal springt man elegant über Dächer – und zwischendurch kratzt man an Teppichen oder kuschelt sich einfach irgendwo ein. Klingt banal, fühlt sich aber großartig an.

Kurz gesagt: Stray ist kein Blockbuster mit Bombast, sondern ein liebevoll gemachtes Erlebnis, das zeigt, wie viel Herz in einem Spiel stecken kann. Für mich ein echtes Highlight.

Sehr stimmungsvoll, tolle Grafik, tolle Lichteffekte, tolle Story, ein wirkliches must-play-Spiel.
Das Ende geht schon unter die Haut, aber das zeigt, wie gut das Spiel wirklich war.
