Strategic Mind: The Pacific is a turn-based strategy set in the WW2 period depicting the war between the USA and the Empire of Japan waged in the Pacific Ocean with mindblowing historical accuracy and attention to detail. It offers an immersive experience of commanding both sides of the conflict, allowing you to gain a unique understanding of the situation through the eyes of both sides top commanders, resulting in enjoyable and insightful gameplay. Build up, train and equip your troops with the newest weaponry available to maximize their efficiency and set sail for victory. The core element of the game is large scale naval battles with numerous carrier ships bringing so much more aircraft into the battle for seizing the control over the ocean. Upon overtaking the sea you will have to set foot on hostile land through a series of costly landing operations.

刚开始游戏体验还不错,侦查机制和情报目标让人有战争的紧迫和沉浸感;设定详细,还原了很多其他战略游戏不会考虑的因素,比如补给、掩护、地形、天气,大部分你能学习到的战术都很真实;剧情动画和音乐虽然谈不上制作精良(当然,也不排除山本五十六可能确实长这样),但在氛围的渲染上还是达到了期望。
但是玩到后面,越来越多的漏洞开始显现出来,让我无法忽略它们对我游戏体验的影响,并促使我写下这篇评测。
主要的问题是:
1.优化:经常长时间无响应以及闪退(特别是频繁点击跳过时),这是几乎每个人都在反映的,也是最大的问题;
2.视角:有时攻击触发放大动画后会使视角出现旋转,并且无法再通过Q、E键回到东南西北朝向的正常视角,还蛮神秘的;特别是在你已经完成一半行动适应了原来视角的情况下,你会感觉非常别扭,或者你想扭断你的脖子;
3.英雄:不知道为什么我的单位指派了英雄后,装备栏+1的技能就会在该单位身上失效,让强迫症感到非常难受;另外我也强烈建议,在下方的单位栏以及行动间的单位界面里,为单位图标添加有关英雄的信息(就像等级的星星一样),因为一个个点开单位详情查看非常麻烦;
4.装备:一些近程武器,比如勃朗宁机枪和火焰喷射器,在说明中显示只对1格内的敌人攻击时有效,但瞄准后在右上角显示对两格距离的敌人的攻击预测时,它们的伤害加成仍然会算在内(不过实际攻击时似乎并不算在内,所以应该是显示错误);
5.射程:首先是陆军防空炮在地图上显示的射程并非真实射程,其次多管火箭炮未启动时也对坦克有射程加成(虽然我用得挺爽),最后,教程和手册里应该增加关于地形限制射程的更多说明,森林、崎岖、城市会阻拦陆军非榴弹炮远程火力,山地会阻拦所有远程火力;
6.海军耐久:手册和教程里的说法容易让人误解,手册中说海军只会受到严重伤害,严重伤害不可恢复,与维修的说法相矛盾,实际上只有船体耐久不可恢复;
7.教程:按教程步骤点开单位详情界面时会遮住教程对话框,就算退出来对话框也会同时跳到下一个,你永远无法触及看到那段文字的真实,堇了;
如果你并不在太意这些bug,那么这个游戏还是值得这个票价的。
打好评是因为现在海战策略游戏确实很少,做好有一定困难,加上最近差评有点多,不想打击开发团队的信心;开发团队做出了长期支持的承诺,也兑现在了游戏比较频繁的更新上,希望我能看到它变得越来越好。
还有一些次要的建议(吐槽):
1.平衡性:虽然我更喜欢航母作战,但也不会对大舰巨炮的理念有什么偏见(补充:我错了,防空炮真的好疼),不过看到我的SB2C对秋月级只能炸出象征性的1点伤害时还是会让我怀疑人生(¿);驱逐舰能躲航弹但不能躲炮弹的设定也蛮怪的很疑惑,如果没有拉烟装备,就和潜艇一样是一次性用品;另外仔细想想,战列舰一回合能走7格,主炮打6格远,加起来13格,飞机一回合飞15格,就算只考虑40点燃油也就能覆盖20格远,所以我是不是可以理解为,航母除了火力强度外,在射程上也并没有什么太大的优势?(绝望)
2.难度:一只想体验剧情的菜鸡还只玩了几局最低难度的米国战役,出于游戏的难度渐进设计,它认为后期登陆战难度比珊瑚海、中途岛这类前期战役难度大是可以理解的,但莱特湾海战不给一艘非核心海军,让它靠自己3潜艇、4驱逐、2航母、2战列的核心海军阵容去扛对面15艘主力舰、4艘航母和无法统计的驱逐舰(尼米兹:全世界都想知道,第34特混舰队在哪里(确信)),确实有点过于刺激;
3.舰种:没有轻巡真是个遗憾;

At first, the game experience is not bad. But as I played along, more and more bugs began to show up, making it impossible for me to ignore their impact on my experience and prompting me to write this review.
The main problems are:
1. Optimization: often there is no response for a long time and flash back (especially after frequent clicks and jumps), which is the biggest problem reflected by almost everyone.
2. Perspective: sometimes when the attack triggers the zooming animation, the perspective will rotate, and the Q and E keys can no longer be used to return to the normal perspective toward the north. Especially if you are halfway through the action and have adapted to the original perspective, you may feel awkward, or you may want to break your neck.
3. Hero: I do not know why the time my unit assigned a hero, the equipment bar +1 skill will be invalid on the unit, making the ocd feel very uncomfortable. I also strongly recommend adding hero information (like rank stars) to the unit icons in the unit bar below and in the unit interface between actions, because it's a hassle to click through the unit details.
4. Equipment: some short-ranged weapon, such as Browning machine guns and flame thrower, in notes to show only are effective for attacking 1 grid of enemy, but after aim, on the top right corner of the display of prediction of attacking 2 grids of enemy, their damage will still be included (but the actual attack doesn't seem to include, so should be to show that error).
5. Range: the first is anti-aircraft guns of the land force on the map to show the range is not a true range. Then those multiple rocket launchers did not start also have range bonus to tanks (even though I enjoyed to use it) . Finally, tutorials and manuals should be increased in the more instructions about the terrain range. The forests, the ruggedness and the city will obstruct the land force of no howitzer long-range fires. Mountain will stop all long-range fires.
6. Naval endurance: it is misleading to read in the manuals and tutorials that the navy will only suffer serious injuries and those serious injuries will not be recoverable, contradicting the maintenance statement. In fact, only hull endurance is not recoverable.

Praise is because there are very few naval war strategy games, there are some difficulties to do well, plus the recent bad review is a little too much, do not want to undermine the confidence of the development team. The development team made a commitment to support the game for the long term, and it's been updated frequently, so hopefully I'll see it get better and better.
Here are some minor Suggestions:
1. Balance: while I prefer carrier operations, I'm not prejudiced against the big-ship and big-cannon(I was wrong, the air defense artillery was hurtful), but seeing my SB2C do only 1 symbolic amount of damage to akizuki still makes me wonder about universe and life(¿). It's confusing that destroyers can dodge bombs, but not cannonballs. If they don't have smoke equipment, they are disposable items like submarines. In addition, if you think about it carefully, a battleship can go 7 grids in a round, the main gun can hit 6 grids, adding up to 13 grids, and the aircraft can fly 15 grids in a round. Even if you only consider 40 points of fuel, you can cover only 20 grids. So I wonder if I can understand that the aircraft carrier has no great advantage in terms of fire range besides fire strength? (despair)
2. Difficulty: a newbie just want to experience the plot only played a few innings minimum difficulty for the battle, out of the difficulty of the game design steps, it thinks the later campaigns are more difficult than the coral sea, midway such earlier campaigns is understandable, but don't give a non-core navy in the battle of leyte bay, make it use its own core navy of 3 submarines, 4 destroyers, 2 aircraft carriers and 2 battleships to battle against 15 capital ships, 4 aircraft carriers, and uncounted destroyers. (Nimitz :All the world wants to know where the 34th task force is ) Oh, it's really exciting.
3. Ship type: it's a pity there's no light cruise.

八小时尝试后的小小评价。
游戏本身很有潜力,制作组也承诺会在今后不断更新新内容(貌似有免费DLC?),但就目前而言有待优化。
首先就是游戏算法,运行一小会后每一步点击都会出现五到十秒的卡顿,AI计算过程也十分漫长——甚至超过了大型4X游戏,但不论是模型还是内容都很简陋。单位的模型像是贴画,语音僵硬,过场动画更是像极了木偶戏(我猜制作组可能就是要这个表达效果)。
就实质内容而言,游戏先是给了我一个惊喜。立体化的战场和模块化单位以及成体系的作战机制让指挥变得很有意思。
但很快,甚至在教程阶段游戏就暴漏了不敬人意的那一面。每个格子允许多个立体单位站立——很好,但我总是不能选中我想要的那一个,总是在攻击步兵时点到城市,在飞行侦察时点到攻击。单位选取也很混乱,我不能取消已经选中的单位,而新选取单位和移动已选取单位的操作是一样的——我常常误操作潜艇的走位。飞行编队集中攻击一个目标时过于混乱,再加上不够好的优化,简直是折磨。
另外,我一直在期待更多更新的船,但是没有——所有战斗中出现的船只都是量产型(除了约克城?),哈尔西也没能给我开来北卡罗莱纳,而是又一艘看厌了的约克城,级。更新的船只没有更新的装备,仅仅是在数值上有所区别。还有,制作组似乎没有考虑每艘船的火炮数量?船只每种武器每回合开火两次(除了鱼雷),理应搭载了更多火力的战列舰供能仅仅体现在大口径主炮上。而航母的防空能力——所有武器全部开火甚至打不下一架(一中队?)战斗机,再加上AI的谜之操作,在在中途岛战役中敌人的第一个攻击波次派出了全部舰载机——而我的防空阵地和舰队只能看着它们在我脸上跳舞(虽然我也可以这么做),但在这样的攻击中损失主力舰会让人很不愉快。
再说游戏伤害机制,必定命中而没有落空——很不二战。恶劣天气和夜战,区分明显的地形与侦察隐蔽要素——很棒,除了大雨特效会遮住整个屏幕(我没有找到设置中的可选天气表现效果)。模块化的伤害让战斗不再是对射——很好,但在总伤害比5:1的情况下,我受的那一点永远是舰体(严重)伤害,这就导致我必须把更多的火力倾泻在一艘驱逐舰上(DD没法装配穿甲弹),而战损比并不理想。装备很真实,但仅仅是还原了名字——九三式610鱼雷往往是个无法造成伤害的摆设,而96式防空机枪的性能超乎我的想象。飞行编队在抵达机场或航母的瞬间就会得到修复与补给,这和恶劣的防空组合起来简直要了我的命——我几乎无法限制对方的飞机,点出火力支援技能也没有改善,当然,我同样可以这么对付AI,但这种设计仍然不合理。
PS:我在等最重要的优化更新,等不及肝爆了。
以下内容写于50小时后。
上面提到的卡顿是中文环境下的小小BUG,早就被修复了。
难以对某个或某些单位造成伤害?看看他们的详细信息,以及其中是否混进了一个英雄单位,某些技能会给一大片敌人强大的加成。
完全升级你的陆军单位!15个人当然比10个更能打,而受损的部队可能连反击都没法做到(这同样对海军武器生效)。
想要在海战中打出更小战损?记住,战舰在反击时会优先使用副炮(只要在射程内),这样就可以用防护更好的船只吸收大量反击伤害。
大舰巨炮的时代过去了。
在中后期绝大部分战舰都具有“切割船体”技能,而对一条船能够造成的漏洞与起火数量没有上限,所以,尽管你的旗舰只收到了7~8点伤害,她依然可能死于漏水(损管只能修一个漏洞)。
重巡与战列舰角色定位是重复的,你甚至可以将一条重巡升级为战列舰,而这么做几乎总是正确的。
轻巡角色缺失了,海军没有足够的对空能力,仅能打断攻击从而自保,用你的空军来击毁敌人吧。(你可以将任何中队停留在重要目标上,这样敌人就没法轰炸它了)

本作是一部很少见的涉及二战时期日美海战的六角战旗类游戏。

游戏在高配下画面相当不错,鼠标滚轮拉伸到近景看舰船细节方面非常考究,基本上还原了当时海战时双方的各种配置,再现了当时的战斗场景。还有,船舰互轰那震耳欲聋的音效值得称赞。(笑)

模块损毁设计使的本作的战斗变得极其考验玩家的策略。(根据每艘船舰的分类,既有主炮,放空炮,动力这些比较相同的模块,也有一些独特的模块,如驱逐舰和航母模块就不尽相同。)

游戏操作比较简单,鼠标左键点击单位,空白地方点击即可移动。(要注意行动力)移动时随机会给一些特写。(飞机在基地着陆时的特写画面非常赞)如果是靠近地方海港和机场后,需要先清理海岸线,然后战列舰和登陆舰来进行登陆作战才能占据据点。

每个游戏单位在海上移动时,要考虑油量和弹药,加上模块损毁和利用战斗中经验值来进行改装升级的设计。大量的变量增加了游戏的代入感,可玩性和深度。不过也导致玩起来过于硬核,目前没有中文也比较遗憾。

可能因为是EA阶段,本作教程比较生硬,很多方面需要自行摸索才能明白。不过对于那些对二战那段历史感兴趣,而又喜欢自己慢慢摸索的策略游戏粉丝来说,这倒是一个非常值得研究的作品。

本作目前只有美军,少了日方的战役。不过从开发商的前作Panzer Strategy来看,完成度还是可以期待的。

自定义最简单难度刚通了日本战役,自定义最简单难度可以轻松拿到steam成就。然后发现很多人都没拿到这些成就,很多成就完成率甚至只有10%不到,不知道是大家觉得不好玩还是大家不想用自定义最简单难度玩呢?
玩到现在总计39小时都在打日本战役,其中1/3的时间(约15小时)花在了最后2关为了保证全单位不死和关卡全任务达成。对,即便是最简单难度,想要不死单位还是很难的。玩得蛮开心的,根本不准备去挑战什么高难度,哈哈。
总之,这是个各种难度有不同玩法,且都需要动脑子的游戏,而且因为装了反作弊,让我最后一关想用修改器的图谋失败了。
建模方面,简陋就简陋点了,过场时间还是蛮长的,有诚意。
还有这几天看公告才知道是乌克兰制作组制作的,怪不得以前在系列其他作品的评论那里有看到在黑苏联。嘛,无论如何,制作组全员及家人平安无事就好。
