Strategic Mind: The Pacific is a turn-based strategy set in the WW2 period depicting the war between the USA and the Empire of Japan waged in the Pacific Ocean with mindblowing historical accuracy and attention to detail. It offers an immersive experience of commanding both sides of the conflict, allowing you to gain a unique understanding of the situation through the eyes of both sides top commanders, resulting in enjoyable and insightful gameplay. Build up, train and equip your troops with the newest weaponry available to maximize their efficiency and set sail for victory. The core element of the game is large scale naval battles with numerous carrier ships bringing so much more aircraft into the battle for seizing the control over the ocean. Upon overtaking the sea you will have to set foot on hostile land through a series of costly landing operations.

I have played for more than 50 hours and I think is a good game, very similar to to the old great games from Five Star General (Pacific General, Panzer General 2, etc.). I could recommend the game but I think it needs some improvements:
1 Heavy Cruisers are too expensive. If Battleships cost is about 3000 prestige, Heavy Cruisers should cost about 2000 prestige. There should more class ships of every ship type like Kongo Class Battlecruiser.
2 There should be Light Cruisers like Japanese Sendai Class or America Omaha Class. Light Cruisers should cost about 1500 prestige and should have an upgrade to launch torpedoes like destroyers.
3 Destroyers are too resistent to capital ships attacks. I think capital ships should have an attack bonus against little ships (battleships +3 attack bonus, heavy cruisers +2 attack bonus and light cruisers +1 attack bonus).
4 Destroyers are too expensive (1000 prestige) to have enough ships to fight against submarine menace all over the map so there should be a cheap destroyer escort class (about 500 prestige points) or frigate class or corvette class for antisubmarine warfare and, on the other hand, should have a limited artillery and antiair attack power.
5 Depth Charges should have a 2 hexes range from the beginning or may be destroyers should have a "sonar sweep" option to scan several hexes while destroyer is moving and throws depth charges automatically along the way.
6 Antiair overwatch of ground AAA artillery should be 1-2 hexes shorter than now because when there are 2 or 3 AAA guns very close player's plane get stucked so easily. Maybe antiair overwatch should not stop planes but just damage them and "steal" planes attack chance for this turn.
7 There should be old planes like Brewster F2A Buffalo or A5M Claude or even older biplanes models. There should more armored and light tank models too.
8 Developers should make posible to change unit's names because when you have many units of the same kind could be so confusing.
9 Rain effect is awesome but I would prefer that it was not so heavy to have better map view
10 I would like that developer design other campaigns like Japanese Army versus Chinese Nationalist and Communist forces or Japanese Army versus British in India, Singapur, Birmania, etc.
In any case, and hoping that developers take any of my suggestions, I must say that if you love panzer general style games this is your kind of game.

Un gran juego al igual que Blitzkrieg que también esta en español y Fight for Freedom y Spectre of Communis que por desgracia todavía no están traducidos esperemos que los traduzcan en algún momento al Español para los jugadores hispano parlante que no entendemos ingles.

Based Turn Strategy with hexagonal grid game with good graphics and a good price.
It should contain a tutorial for learning how to play but you can learn how to very quickly.
Battleships, Aircrafts and submarines around the map with differrent kinds of special weapons.
If you like the BTS WW2 games, you should try this title.

LO RECOMIENDO.
Excelente juego!! Si te gusta los juegos de tablero por turno ambientados en segunda guerra mundial. ESTE ES TU JUEGO. Estilo panzer corp con mejores graficas un poco mas de profundidad en la parte estrategica y en la parte tactica habilidades de las unidades que uno puede personalizar de forma muy facil de entender.
Aun no jugue demasiado y pareciera que tiene continuidad de misiones, es decir que mantenes unidades desde el escenario DOS (dije dos, no en el primero) que es cuando se despliega la MESA DE OPERACIONES con tus comandantes de guerra y operacional al servicio del presidente de turno.
LAS UNIDADES NAVALES: son bien personalizadas y las podes personalizar un poco mas aun diferenciandolas bien segun la tarea que quieras darles.
CALCULOS ultra detallados PRE-COMBATE, influye todo de todo, es excelente.
Efectos de clima excelente, apoyo de baterias navales y terrestres, emboscada a los aviones con anti aereos. El juego es muy POSICIONAL, asi que depende mucho del spoteo y de la distancia, terreno y angulo de tus unidades al momento de atacar y/o defender.
Las misiones se van ampliando cada X momento y normalmente la ultima se hace imposible, ya que es una gran distancia por recorrer en ciego del mapa y te llenan de emboscadas, no vale la pena costo/ beneficios. Mejor invadir y matar con las unidades que corresponden (tratando de sacar mas niveles de experiencia y el FAMOSO HEROE de unidad).
Creo que el precio es acorde al juego y hasta diria que podria estar un poco mas caro.
LO POCO QUE TIENE DE MALO
Supply turno a turno, deberia poder verse estatico para confirmar la CANTIDAD de recarga que hicieron las unidades.
Grafica de combate confusa con giros de camara que no te permiten ver bien el resultado hasta que se calma todo.
