Criminally underrated game with a fantastic setting. This game deserved so much more.

Strange Brigade is a third person adventure game that feels like a playable Indiana Jones movie. Set in egypt, you play as a member of the Brigade, sent to stop the witch queen Seteki and her army of mummies to destroy the world.
The gameplay is based on a linear level design, fast-paced shooting, the solving of ancient puzzles and the search for hidden treasures. Whether you play solo or in co-op (with a team up to four players), the action and enemies stay pretty balanced. I'm not sure if the amount of enemies change regarding the amount of players, but I played it in solo and in coop with three other players and none of this seemed to be exceptionally difficult.
Strange Brigade is set in a vibrant, colorful world with nine levels that prioritizes fun and action over a deep storyline. If you're looking for a game to just chill and blast some mummies in solo or with friends, this is it. The game doesn't take itself too serious, thanks to the hilarious narrator who comments on your every move. (Since I've read that many people got annoyed by the narrator, I want to mention that you can reduce his talking to the minimum.)
There is also some kind of horde mode where you have to fight different waves of enemies while trying to survive as long as possible. It's a nice change to the linear level design and kept my friends and me entertained for many hours.
Overall, Strange Brigade is an amazingly fun third person adventure which is definitely worth a buy, but I wouldn't pay the full price. I bought the game at release on a 90% discount for 5€ and wouldn't spend more than 25€, so maybe wait for a good sale as well.

FOR EVERYONE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH 4-5 MINUTE BLACK SCREENS AT THE START
Go into your BIOS and disable Hyper-Threading, something with the newer build of windows 10 (possibly even 11) breaks Hyper-Threading in regards to Strange Brigade, causing it to hang when booting. The same issue effects the game Code Vein and needs fixed by the developers.
Please remember to re-enable Hyper-Threading after playing the game, as disabling it can negatively impact performance in other titles!

Is it repetetive? yes. But as long as you know what you're getting into, it's fun. As someone else said, it is a bit serious sam like, you're blasting your way trough waves of enemies, and doing some light exploration and puzzle solving, and looting, and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Looks good, runs great.

+ Light story
+ Performs well in 4K on modern GPUs
- Missions 2-12 aren't offering any new game mechanics that wouldn't already be present in the 1st mission
- Overpriced if not on sale (80€ for the Deluxe Edition is excessive)

kind of a reskin of the Zombie Army spinoffs of Sniper Elite, but nothing bad about that. a nice, fun adventure. it's silly and simple in a good way. a shame there was never a sequel

Strange Brigade is a good spin over game with Zombie Co-op theme.
It's definitely not worth it's fully price, but with heavy discount it's definitely a good catch.
Achievements are balanced - I did not find anything extremely hard in terms "you need to be skilled".
Although finding "jar" collectible is such a chore and without guides, it would be near impossible for me.
Notes are so-so,
Cats collectibles are fine.
Relics are fine, except that you can block yourself and in extreme cases even reloading checkpoint will not help.
Shooting is just okay - you get that vibe of WW1 or WW2 weapons, accuracy is missing. (Power too, if you are playing Extreme). Weapon choice is not that great - we get number of them, but only 3 or 4 of weapons feel sensible. Progression could make it more logical - you can unlock last weapon first, if you get enough gold.
Weapon upgrades are uneven - and you cannot unmount the gems. Bollock. And option to sell them for 100 gold? So silly.
To some point game is very repetitive - although you get new enemies, in my opinion they do not vary much. They give some refreshment and challenge, but it's not long term.
Amulets are similar story - some feel useless. Some are awesome.
Graphically, I really liked the game. There were no places where it evidently lost much FPS - it kept stable.
Narrator? Gave the game another charm. Although general humor in this game is "British" (as per my teammate).
Horde mode is waste of time. It loops itself. Not really fun. Maybe done once.
Attack Score? Somewhat nice addition, but timer is sometimes way too strict IMO.
I enjoyed the game, it has it's flaws, but generally it's well done game. If you are not purist and have some friends, I recommend to grab it.
Solo experience should be fine, too.
