Stories: The Path of Destinies is an action RPG set in a vibrant fairytale universe filled with floating islands, majestic airships, and colorful magic. Reynardo, ex-pirate and unintentional hero, suddenly becomes the last line of the defense against the mad Emperor and his countless ravens. Can he come up with a plan that won’t blow up in his face, for a change? In Stories, each choice you make takes Reynardo into a unique narrative. From tongue-in-cheek takes on heroic adventures to dark, Lovecraftian scenes, Stories’ repertoire is as diverse as it is action-packed. But Reynardo’s fateful decisions won’t always come easy: Sometimes retrieving a weapon lost at the beginning of time means sacrificing the life of an old friend. But with so many choices to make, so many potential dire destinies, wouldn't it be great to be able to come back in time, learn from your mistakes and find the one true path?

Stories est une expérience intéressante, parfois charmante, mais souffrant d'une ambition trop importante par rapport à ses moyens qui en fait un jeu immensément répétitif pour en tirer toutes ses histoires et peu intéressant à jouer. Malgré tout l'univers & la narration savent séduire grâce à des dialogues bien troussés et contés de manière truculente.
'+ Un jeu très "Conte" narré de A à Z par un acteur extrêmement compétent & impliqué
+ Beaucoup de choix et d'embranchements pour 20 histoires + au total
+ Mignon visuellement
+ Certaines histoires sont assez cools et parfois très sombres
- Vu que le Narrateur fait toutes les voix, c'est parfois redondant et cela enlève du caractère aux personnages
- Un Lore qu'on sent développé mais mal introduit ingame
- Des combats rigides & répétitifs & imprécis
- Bande-son oubliable
- Dispose de tellement peu d'options Quality of Life pour rejouer les histoires : On se retape les mêmes dialogues, les mêmes niveaux pour accéder à un embranchement et à ce moment la même cutscene avec les mêmes dialogues; le tout non skippable
- Répétitif à en crever en raison du maigre contenu présent par rapport au nombre d'histoires présentes
- True Ending extrêmement insatisfaisante

But, it deserve a solid 4/5 stars if we could rate likewise.
The reason behind is the XP gain to reach the lvl maximum and unlock all capacities.
