Steelborn – is a run and gun platformer game inspired by the classics and made by a team of Abuse, Ranger-X, Contra, Metal Slug, Blaster Master and H.E.R.O fans.
Earth HQ lost contact with a far-away colony on an unremarkable planet known only as VL-744, and you, alongside your trusty mech, were sent to scout things out and learn the fate of the lost colonists.
The fun and addictive gameplay alongside a strong storyline will let you get the most experience out of your exploratory adventure.
- Study the game world traveling in a mighty mech, or leave it to seek secrets inside the planet’s depths.
- Use a diverse arsenal of gear, from a jetpack to five types of guns and even a katana!
- Fight and destroy a huge cast of enemies and brutal bosses.
- Battle it out, listening to addictive Synthwave, Retrowave and Oldschool Electronic-style music.
And much more…

TITAN-vania
The game is set in a dystopian future, where the player takes on the role of a protagonist, tasked with fighting off hordes of mutant enemies while exploring the ruins of the once-great civilization.
STORY/LORE
The game's storyline is a bit generic, as it follows the typical post-apocalyptic narrative that we've seen in many other games. Players can unravel the history of the game world by exploring various locations and reading scattered notes and messages.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay in Steelborn is a mix of exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving. The player must navigate the game's open-world environment, which is filled with enemies, traps, and hidden treasures. Combat is fast-paced and satisfying, with the player having access to a variety of weapons and abilities. The game also features RPG elements, such as leveling up and skill trees, which allow the player to customize their character's abilities to suit their playstyle. The puzzles in Steelborn are challenging but not overly difficult, requiring the player to use their wits and observation skills to progress through the game.
STYLE(GRAPHIC/SOUND DESIGN)
The graphics in Steelborn are impressive, with detailed environments and character models. The game's art style is unique, with a mix of sci-fi and steampunk elements. The environments are diverse, ranging from desolate dungeons to futuristic cities, which adds to the game's immersive experience.
PROBLEMS
While Steelborn has some positive aspects, it is not without its problems. Here are some of the most prominent issues with the game:
-Repetitive gameplay: While the combat in Steelborn is fun and satisfying, it can quickly become repetitive. The game's enemies are fairly predictable, and there is a limited variety of weapons and abilities to use against them. As a result, some players may find the gameplay to be monotonous after a while.
-Lack of direction: Steelborn's open-world design can be both a blessing and a curse. While it allows for a lot of exploration and discovery, it also lacks clear direction. Some players may find themselves wandering aimlessly without a clear objective or sense of purpose.
-Thin story: While the game's setting and lore are intriguing, the actual story of Steelborn is fairly thin. There are few characters to interact with, and the game's main questline is relatively short. As a result, some players may feel that the game lacks depth or substance.
Despite these issues, Steelborn may still be worth a look for fans of action-adventure games looking for a new experience.

Everything on this planet is trying to kill you. Even on the original difficulty you won't get an easy walk.

This game pleasantly surprised me. An interesting storyline is present, and most importantly I liked the levels and gameplay. The music, too, by the way, but I would like more different tunes.

An awesome game! You can kill huge hordes of monster combat robot and armed robot pilot. Many different weapons, easy controls. The game is very dynamic. Many different types of monsters will not let you get bored.

2d graphics is the best thing for this game. The game is designed more for recreation: you run, shoot, killing monsters and robots along the way. What else do you need???

I especially liked the fact that the game doesn't just take you through a straight storyline, but gives you the opportunity to explore the world separately!
