Teach everyone on Steam how to make great simulation/tycoon games x)
There was a solo dev who had games that almost completely copy pasted their classic game progression a couple years ago and made a great sales figure from it. Notice that Kairosoft has been making games and created the game progression before smartphone was a thing, so it is very obvious which party is the copycat. I won't name the game nor the person but it was a tycoon game, and the dev has a youtube channel teaching people how to make profitable indie games.
With all the sims games I've played, PC or other platforms, I assume I can safely say Kairosoft makes the best sims in the world.

I think it’s fairly clear that Station Manager isn’t an exact depiction of what it means to be a train station manager, or whatever you might call someone in charge of running a train station. Still, it does so in a simple and fun way, at least in my opinion.
For the most part, Station Manager is hands-off in that your job is lies mainly in deciding the layout of your station, the stores, facilities, amenities and decorations you use as well as the train tracks and platforms. Certain facilities and items boost other specific facilities and items, like how a restroom and a cleaning supplies room placed next to each other end up increasing the quality of your services. In this way, proper floor plans are rewarded with greater profit and customer satisfaction,
Customers, or passengers, come in four types: Youth, Adult, Senior and Special (or more unique customers). They use your facilities, buy from your stores and commute on your trains. Aside from providing your station with income and profit, they level up as they avail of your station’s features and provide rewards as they reach certain levels. These include item rewards you can use to boost your facilities or even have them apply to be researchers.
Lastly, research is how you unlock new content. New trains, new station facilities, new routes and even new customer types, your researches help you unlock them, provided you pay them a salary. Unlocking new things to research requires fulfilling certain milestones, like making sure a certain amount of a certain category of customers use your trains enough times.
While there are more features to be talked about, like unlocking new floors for your stations or new stations to manage, these are the broad strokes. The game does have a tutorial function that plays out when you start a game, and it explains enough as you progress without overwhelming you with too much data.
Let me be clear, it’s quite possible that you think there’s not enough to do in Station Manager despite the price, in which case I recommend refraining from buying it until it gets a big enough discount on sale,
That said, I hope you enjoy it.

This game is great! I loved this game on Android, despite the micro-transactions (which I basically ignored). Now, those micro-transactions are GONE, replaced entirely by the ability to use in-game currency for the premium currency instead. As such, the premium currency becomes just another resource to manage (which you could do anyway, since there were ways in-game to earn the premium currency).
What I really enjoyed though, apart from the train station theme, was that continued play was encouraged over endless replaying, by having a yearly high score for each station. You can switch between stations each year, with a portion of the revenue from your other stations being paid to whatever station you are currently developing, allowing you to set up new stations quicker.
All in all, this is a solid port of the Android game, without the micro-transactions, for everyone to enjoy on Steam!

Originally on mobile devices, Station Manager is now available on Steam. It plays as a mix of manager and designer as you build and expand your station, research upgrades and increasing the amount of customers while leveling them up for gifts and bonuses across four seasons. Your time at the station lasts for one year in game time followed by an evaluation of your station then given the choice to continue or start the next station in the next area. The plus to this though is an already existing station in one area contributes to the one your working on elsewhere.
It's easy to look track of time playing this but it's certainly fun. The price is a bit higher compared to the phone/tablet version the micro transaction feature is removed so what's worse? No micro transactions or micro transactions?
Certainly worth getting if you want to something to just relax to.

I use to play Kairo game back in the day the first game i play is Game Dev isn't i remember not wrong with Galaxy mini that Android 2.0 quite old haha and then i move to first Ipad and play hot spring story day and night. and many more. But the reason I'm stop playing because everytime i change mobile / tablet all save gone.
Now with this game on steam it like my dream come true. I have many pc and laptop and now i can on any machine I have. The game have many area that require improve but it ok since i love the graphics of the game. It quite nice it not look like modern game. But the game play make you addict and no need to pay any extra money to enjoy the full content it fun to see the Train station grow after year of you in control. The town also grow up with the station i never notice until year 4-5 that i see the town change a lot when i invest a lot in develop the station
I'm still stick 2 station may be will expand more in future but really fun to see those customer walk around but i wish there is a way to hide stair because sometime small item i place under stair is so hard to see. But that small problem
There are many fun customer i never expect they will be our customer.I wish there was officer of station walk around it may look more fun. Also i wish we can click and follow specific customer not only VIP to see what they do in each time day arrive to our station.
I think if you like Kairo game and management style game you will like it and you will be time traveler because you will play it until you feel again oh it time for best
I recommend it !
