It all started with the Invaders, they who sacked your home planet leaving you scattered for a new home. You found one and was determined to rebuild home. There you venture outer space, gather resource and people only to face them, Invader again!
Select between various weapon, defensive and utility modules to craft a formidable starship and survive the flooding attack of enemies.
Plus, you get the option to particularly enhance the weapons in the wanted direction, higher fire rate, bigger hit box or range and more fun and unique twist.
There are more ways to play Starship Scramble. You can improve the ship performance by recruiting. They will shape your desire build and playstyle!

good game about a spaceship in the genre of vampire survivors, nice control of the ship together with a huge number of weapons and crew makes a great replayability of the game

Vampire survivors, but in.. Space??
Quite an interesting space survival game, where we have to collect resources, build a ship, fight against many enemies, and try not to die.
Overall, the game is very entertaining, many weapons and upgrades make the gameplay varied. And simple pixel graphics and soundtrack create a cozy atmosphere. If you like space-themed games, try this one.

Solid gameplay loop.
There a campaign mode where to farm money, materials, and there is a town mode where you use those resources to build your town. The RGN factor in building your ship keep it entertaining.

Demo does not work on Steam Deck. The full game does and its a good start, fun and lots of upgrade paths. It's not the easiest to move around and perform upgrades on the Steam deck, although combat plays well and is smooth. Trying to swap things out, upgrade, it takes practice to figure out the keys. I think a few things may need to be tweaked.

I got the game for free, but damn I want to pay for it. This is a true hidden gem, such innovations and dedications are clearly shown. You may not even find the high variety of this game anywhere. It may take time to get used to the overwhelming start, but you will love it.

I first decided to try out the demo version of Starship Scramble. At first, I was just testing the waters, but you know what? It really pulled me in. The gameplay had a unique charm that kept me engaged, and before I knew it, I was totally absorbed.
After getting hooked, I went ahead and purchased the full version. Now, I’m building my own ships, customizing and strategizing to take on new challenges. The experience has been incredibly satisfying so far, and it’s easy to lose track of time when you’re so focused on creating and perfecting your fleet. Starship Scramble has definitely become one of my top go-to games.
