LOTS of choices throughout and ending options. Great music, great art, fun dialogue, fun characters. I enjoyed this game so much!

A very fun addition for the comics! I enjoyed all the extra moments with the characters. Although Hayden's route seemed a little unnecessary in all honesty.

As much as I love the Starfighter web comic, characters, universe, and the lovely artwork of HamletMachine, I am a bit disappointed by this VN. Not due to the story or artwork, but oddly enough, the general playability of this VN is tedious, which can make your journey unraveling the story and enjoying the artwork quite annoying.
It is surprisingly difficult to know when you made the wrong choice, or what choices you should make differently for a different outcome--whether you're playing blind or have a guide to follow. I enjoy playing blind, but shortly after I started, I felt that I needed one as there are an abundance of possible game overs starting Day 1, as well as diverting choices that seem to lead to the same end regardless. Because of this, S:E is not enjoyable at fundamental "navigational" level... which is a massive disservice to the story. I also experienced issues where some dialogue options flagged in guides would simply not appear for me, no matter what choices I made.
A quick note on guides: they're all basically identical (save the YouTube ones) and they're not that clear. Sometimes the guides take liberties rephrasing or paraphrasing choices... so save your game often and get ready to reload if need be.
Finally, the story. It's interesting... nothing groundbreaking by any means, but an interesting and sexy-fun Starfighter mystery. In addition, I agree with other reviewers that it is a bit jarring to see many of the OG Starfighter characters acting so out of character... sometimes it just feels completely wrong especially if you're here because you fell for the Cain x Abel love story. I also recommend that anyone interested in playing this game read the web comic beforehand. It's worth it, and some things might not make any sense unless you have read it.
Despite all of this, I still recommend it, I just want to be transparent about how tedious it is and how annoying that can be if you're just trying to relax and read a vn. So...I'll give it a 7/10 over all... buy it when it's on sale, follow a guide and hope it works for you, save often, and... of course... enjoy the men.
