I fell in love instantly with this game.
Don't get me wrong, this game needs a lot of polishing, especially the animations but if you play it you can still have a lot of fun.
I'm not a huge fan of L cancels, but other than that this game has very interesting mechanics like double jump cancels and Block stings (which are super cool) as well as flashy combos. This Platform Fighter also nailed the gamefeel, I just dislike the shitty airdodges and hard timings for L cancels, but other than that the hitlag is so satisfying and you can genuinely feel the impact of your moves as well as your DI and there is a lot of insanely hype and cool stuff you can go for even at lower levels !
I personally really like the aesthetic and the design of most characters, and the small character description with their pronouns and stuff should be a thing in every Fighting Game, it is soooo awesome (and very funny "Dislikes:Showers" LOL).
Training mode is also quite interesting with a mini game called combo trials that works kinda like a rythm game with your inputs.
The musics are alright too bad they couldn't get their hands on higher quality instruments because the melodies are cool, my favorite one is the character select screen music.
The dev team is very responsive and makes regular patches and they now have a very decent rollback netcode which is Perfect for now (they can still improve on it in the future though). The balancing is not quite done though as there are some bugs and questionable values and gimmicks (like some moves that have very high base knockback for no reason or some having 0 hitstun and thus 0 utility if they're not + on block).
This game deserves some love and polishing, I hope I can help improve this game in the future so it reaches its full potential, thanks for reading this and enjoy this game ! ^^

Interestings mechanics, pretty fast and combo-oriented gameplay, but really bad animations. If you are able to set aside the whacky visuals, you can have a lot of fun.
