One of my absolute childhood favorites, and one of the gems of 2000s Star Wars games. It's a lot of fun and really achieves the Star Wars feel, sound and mood, with really cool level design ideas. I personally prefer it to Jedi Outcast because it's less sweaty and the lite-RPG flavor really puts you in the shoes of a Jedi learner, but Outcast is really awesome too and many fans understandably prefer it. Either way, I think Jedi Academy is a must-play.

They still can't match the freedom of movement and lightsaber controls that this game perfected 20+ years ago. Newer star wars Jedi games have to be auto lock on dark souls like on rails movement and combat.
Remake this game with the controls in tact pls.

This game has the best lightsaber combat by a mile and has insanely active modding community.

It's an okay sequel to Jedi Outcast, but it feels more like an expansion. It retains the same cool Outcast game mechanics (lightsaber fights and Force powers), but now we can also customize our character and lightsaber. The story is not quite as interesting or engaging. If you are a fan of the series (or Star Wars in general), get this game. If not, then just get Jedi Outcast.

Movie battles makes an already amazing game into one of the most autisticly fun multiplayer experiences.
As a JarJar enjoyer I might be biased.

those academys really were jedi
Really fun old game, I can see why so many people have nostalgia for it, it's genuinely really good. Story is whatever, but I don't mind since it's from 2003. This game is not beating the "Train level is always the best in a video game" allegations anytime soon.

Great game. Better lightsaber combat than the newer games. Fun story. Very satisfying.
Better story than the Disney "sequels"
