I wouldn’t even know how to write how much this game means to me now & through my younger years. I believe it was my first stint through ESL as well, so many good memories. I also dread to think how many hours I’ve put into it, a few thousand at least. Dial-up, Xfire and JK3Files (RIP) as my internet homescreen. I also remember lugging my laptop around to a friends and we’d download mods and try new maps all throughout the weekends.
Over the last 10-12 yrs I still swing by on servers but not really to communicate, moreso just to jump through different floors across different levels and relive some of that golden nostalgia. I truly cannot believe that this game never got a sequel, the lightsaber combat is unrivalled.

It's an okay sequel to Jedi Outcast, but it feels more like an expansion. It retains the same cool Outcast game mechanics (lightsaber fights and Force powers), but now we can also customize our character and lightsaber. The story is not quite as interesting or engaging. If you are a fan of the series (or Star Wars in general), get this game. If not, then just get Jedi Outcast.

Beyond worth for Modded Single and Multiplayer content such as Movie Battles II.
Some of best innovative gameplay to hit Star Wars... well, ever.

This game (after 17 years) still has the best lightsaber combat system aside one of the best story mode. Easy to learn but hard to master the multiplayer experience is still top class for every SW fan. The community cares about the game with new characters made every day from a range of football players to non canon as well as canon characters. I currently run the game with JA+ mod and been a part of a community almost 3 years with many pleasuring experience behind my time.
This game definitely is a must for every SW fan so go ahead and give it that few bucks.

This is a 20+ year old game that still somehow kicks ass in modern age of gaming
Overall this game plays like a arena shooter, the base game has the best lightsaber combat out of all Star Wars games. It gives you that power fantasy you've probably been looking for in a game that lets you use a lightsaber and duel. It's main story is pretty cool but Movie Battles is the best way to play this if you're looking for real saber combat.
Movie Battle servers could use a lot more people. The mod Movie Battles enhances the experience by letting you join servers with a still very much alive and VERY skilled community (even after all these years).

those academys really were jedi
Really fun old game, I can see why so many people have nostalgia for it, it's genuinely really good. Story is whatever, but I don't mind since it's from 2003. This game is not beating the "Train level is always the best in a video game" allegations anytime soon.

Great game. Better lightsaber combat than the newer games. Fun story. Very satisfying.
Better story than the Disney "sequels"
