With brand new space combat, playable Jedi characters, and over 16 all new battlefronts, Star Wars Battlefront II gives you more ways than ever before to play the classic Star Wars battles any way you want.
- Enhanced Single-Player Experience – Join the rise of Darth Vader’s elite 501st Legion of Stormtroopers as you fight through an all new story-based saga where every action you take impacts the battlefront and, ultimately, the fate of the Star Wars galaxy.
- All New Classic Trilogy Locations – Fight inside the corridors of the second Death Star, in the marshy swamps of Dagobah, and even aboard the Tantive IV, Princess Leia’s Blockade Runner, as seen at the beginning of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
- More Classes and Vehicles – Now choose from six distinct soldier classes, plus bonus hero characters for each of the four factions: Rebels, Imperials, CIS and the Republic. Then jump into more than 30 diverse ground and space vehicles, including the clone BARC speeder, AT-RT and new Jedi Starfighter and ARC 170.
- PLUS Improved Online Features – Engage in massive online battles with multiplayer action for up to 64 players. Play five different online game modes including Conquest, Assault, one-and two-flag Capture the Flag, and Hunt.
Now for the first time, Star Wars Battlefront II lets you…
- Fight as a Jedi – Earn the ability to wield a lightsaber and use Force powers like Yoda, Darth Vader and many other heroes and villains.
- Battle in Space – Dogfight in X-wings, TIE fighters, Jedi starfighters and other classic starcraft, or land your ship on a star destroyer and fight it out on foot aboard enemy ships.
- Play 16 New Locations – Battle across Star Wars: Episode III environments such as Utapau, Mustafar and the epic space battle above Coruscant.

Gracefully aging, peacefully, away from microtransactions, server issues and EA. One of the few games I can turn on that makes me feel young again. This was amongst the golden era for games - A campaign packed with content, a community that’s friendly and helpful, an experience that never disappoints. It’s hard nowadays to find games that have a fraction of these elements.
This is the definitive, classic edition. Don’t be fooled by anything else claiming to be.

People actually play it online, it's not 50 gigs, mods work out of the box, it's not 50 gigs, it and Battlefront 1 together are much cheaper than the Classic Collection, and did I mention that it's not 50 gigs?
Since they're actually getting discounts for the first time since the Classic Collection came out (last time was back in February), just grab this and the standalone Battlefront 1 instead of Aspyr's bastardization.

I know that my steam account says I've only played 42 hours, but I've actually bought this game 3 times on disc before I got it on steam. It is one of my most played games. I easily put thousands of hours onto this game as a child and it is still a good time. Its one of the games I play when I'm working on writing my own sci-fi series. I strongly suggest you get mods as well after you've beaten the campaign and done some galactic conquest and instant action. The Ultimate Mod Pack Launcher is the best but can be hard to find. That and other mods can add dozens of hours of gameplay in maps and new game modes and eras. Tons of replayability. Top 5 best Star Wars games out there and easily one of the best video games of its time.

Still better than anything EA & Disney pump out.

Star Wars: Battlefront II is a sequel to the already great Star Wars: Battlefront game by Pandemic Studios.
Battlefront II is an improvement in every way to the first game - it looks better, has more planets, more game modes (my favourite being Galactic Conquest, where your goal is to capture every planet by earning a victory on every map), has a stronger campaign (which is faithful to the six films it's based upon).

Listen, the graphics now are pretty meh, but the gameplay is still top tier
