Sprocket
Design tanks in a dedicated and intuitive designer, allowing the realistic armour mechanics that make tank combat so unique. Explore tank design’s challenges through WW1, the interwar period and the early, mid and late stages of WW2.
Please note: There is currently no dedicated tutorial. If you don’t enjoy figuring things out or you don’t know much about tanks, it may be worth holding off until better guidance is in place.
Hull & Turret Shape Design
Easy to use and flexible enough to give you endless design starting points. Drag on a face or edge to move it. Bigger compartments create more internal space but have more surface to armour.
Well angled shapes may bounce incoming shells off entirely, leaving only a scratch and several ringing ears.
Armour Design
Set the thickness of each armour plate, allowing you to block shots from your foes. Though the weight and space used adds up!
Cannon Design
Build a gun capable of piercing enemy armour. You’ll need enough space and force to rotate it. Make sure you save enough room for ammo!
Crew Design
Humans are light but large and quite essential, squeeze them in and assign them one or more roles. Cramped and overworked crew perform poorly.
Attached Parts
Add functional and decorative parts to the exterior of your vehicle. These can define where internals are e.g. the engine is positioned where you place your exhausts and vents, then gets hit if a shell pierces your armour in that area. Place a fuel port in front of the driver and the fuel tank just might absorb a projectile, saving their life – if it doesn’t ignite…
Track Design
Focus your tracks and suspension on trench crossing, mountain climbing, going fast or just looking cool.
Engine Design
Design anything from ship engines to lawnmower engines in a basic powerplant designer.
Fuel Tank Design
Set your fuel capacity and tank locations. Even bring them outside of the vehicle – if you don’t mind them being shot off every now and then.
Transmission Design
Design your ratios – make it faster backwards than forwards or give it a 1st gear that can climb any mountain. One of these on each track will let one side drive while the other reverses, turning on the spot.
Internal Component Health
No hit-points. Vehicles carry on the fight as long as their critical internals are still functioning.
Full Powertrain Simulation
Engines, transmissions & tracks work together to move your tank with a realistic simulation, making vehicles feel like the real thing.
Scenarios
Battle in a range of environments with a team of your custom tanks, although make your design too expensive and you might be on your own. If your vehicle is destroyed, you carry on the fight in control of an ally – sometimes watching your previous self go up in flames.

This is a fabulous game where I can test all my (sometimes very stupid) ideas. I have designed an MBT series known as the "Cougar" which has both lightly armoured and heavily armoured variants. The heavily armoued variants are designs to be able to knock out the toughest of armour with a 90mm cannon that can penetrate 270mm of armour. The only trade off to this weapon is that the gun handling is very poor meaning that aiming before you are shot can be at times challenging. The lightly armoured version originally used a 75mm cannon however was moved towards a 40mm autocannon (made this by editing some files for the gun). This was fabulous for flanking however you had to be careful not to be hit as enemies had a better chance at penetrating your frontal armour. This is the game I have played most on steam actually. Probably one of the best games I've played.

Hands down one of the best 'indie' games ive ever played. Development cycle has been consistent and for a single dev, hes added an unbelievable amount of depth since I first got the game on its release.
Ive been here since day one, and Ill be there as soon as he releases sprocket 2 (hopefully with infantry and fortifications) and has a full team under him. Even if you dont like the game concept, if you want to support good hearted devs, just send this man money. He has earned every penny, and honestly deserves more.
P.S. to the dev if you actually read this; please add a supporter pack with whatever price you want and 0 content so I give you more money. Devs like you are the last little bit of light left in the ruined game industry and I know for a fact the whole community is with you and wants you to succeed. I wish you all the best, and God bless you, you sexy f$%@&n man.

Definitely one of the best tank building games out there. Graphics are pretty good, smooth editing, and lots of customization. Only thing I don't like is the weapon variety. You can't make any sort of autocannon without having to navigate through the game files, and there are only AP or APHE rounds to load. Looking forward to a weaponry update in the future.

Great game, Pls add items for modern tanks and the ability to have crew small arms machine guns on the tank like the prop ones but ones that work

Amazing game for building every armoured vehicle of your dreams, so much potential and so much to do. Its not hard to learn after working out the controls and your design skills will just keep improving with every design. Very cheap for what your getting, no need to wait for a sale when it comes to this game. Instant buy.

The only one of its kind, which is sad, build tanks from the ground up, then fight them. Cant wait for MP and better scenario editor. Supports third party model import/export through third party editor.
