Spoils of Plunder

I want to be clear, this review is a review for this game that came out on the 24th, by the time you the reader may see it however any complaints may have changed.
Now, I am not good at these, so bare with me here.
is the game worth the price?
Yes, when I bought this game it was only $1.99. (as of writing this review it is still that price)
Is it fun?
Yes, for $2 it is a lot of fun and really had limited issues atleast for as far as I got.
are there any cons?
Yes, the combat is clunky, you feel slow and sometimes you swing and you have no idea where you're going to hit.
The magic and archer classes (or I should say weapons as there are no classes)
are super slow, and can be easily used to cheese most enemies making those weapons useless in any real combat except for multiplayer maybe.
Is it Multiplayer?
I couldn't tell you. It says it is, and has options for multiplayer yet no one is hosting or running servers so I have no idea if it works or not.
Did I have any issues with the game?
Yes. Once you enter a dungeon that's it you're stuck in there until you kill the boss.
If there is a way out otherwise, I couldn't find it.
I tried every button and ever combination and even every option.
I couldn't leave.
Would this be an issue as of right now?
Yes.
I was finally at the second boss after traversing the maze (which was alot of fun) and I just couldn't kill him.
I used a melee weapon and he kept healing faster than I could damage him.
I was warned magic doesn't effect him and that I should 'use steel, and from a distance."
I did not head her warning however, and i didn't bring a crossbow.
This was a stupid mistake as my magic was useless, my melee was useless and I did not bring any crossbows.
I am assuming that you are meant to bring one.
My mistake for not assuming as much earlier however to be hard locked in a boss room because I didn't bring a type of weapon I don't enjoy feels a bit much.
Would I recommend this game?
Yes.
I also recommend bringing friends, and every weapon type with you else you too be stuck forever in an endless boss battle.

The game has some interesting arpg mechanics, it is fluid and it gives for many hours of fun, it is also free, what more do you want?

At this stage, the game misses very basic UI components such as UI Customization (Font sizes, Numeric values of own health/mana, ...)
At start, there is no health/mana regeneration, which make it a bit strange for an ARPG
Do not buy if you can't stand dying, missing loots (because you died).
I do recommend this game at this stage, because it was entertaining.
I really hope that they continue the development of this game, because it has potential.
Buy to cheer to team up to develop more!
Great great potential.

This game was quite fun, especially for the price.
Don't expect too much and you probably will be surprised.
Hopefully he works more on the game!

Before I played Spoils of Plunder, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good

Fun and creative abilities for an arpg game. Campaign is very short, but keep an eye on it.
