It is the year 518. The rebellion of the renegade mages, known as the Mage Wars, has been quashed by the Crown. However, it was a pyrrhic victory: whole regions have fallen into anarchy, refugees roam the lands in search of shelter, and a mysterious, deadly plague called the “Bloodburn” has arisen and is spreading rapidly.

"I've only completed half the campaign so far. The game definitely has its flaws. The RTS aspect isn't very deep, especially compared to pure RTS games like Age of Empires. But it's clear the game was made with love and passion, and you can really feel it. It's rich in lore and detail. The campaign has a true tabletop RPG feel, and I really like that.
TL;DR: It has flaws, but it's very enjoyable !"
