As someone with disability of speak I like the fact that this sofware use my own voice for the recognition.
However that one second is a pretty fast time to record my command and SpellCaster doesn't give you ways to edit the .wav
My disability is slowing my speach very much, and I couldn't succeed at making the record.
So I found a workaround by editing my .wav using Audacity.
I make sure to export 1 second at 16600 khz in mono, et voilà !
Regarding performance: I barely notice any CPU usage while testing it with 2 command, which is really good as those kind of software often used lot of CPU to do their job. Also the accuracy was very good on those command.
Pro : - Low CPU usage
- Good recognition
Bad: - Unfriendly voice recording (Audacity workaround)
Final verdict: Yah , I definitely recommend it.
