Space Hulk: Deathwing
Space Hulk: Deathwing – Enhanced Edition is a First-Person Shooter based on Games Workshop’s cult classic board game set in Warhammer 40,000 universe. Expanding upon the original game, and featuring a host of new content, new features and a richer multiplayer mode, the Enhanced Edition is the ultimate Space Hulk: Deathwing experience. Play as a Terminator of the Deathwing – the feared 1st Company comprised of the elite of the secretive Space Marine Chapter, the Dark Angels – and engage in a desperate battle against Genestealers, within the claustrophobic confines of a Space Hulk. Grow stronger, gaining skills, new abilities, and powerful equipment as you earn experience across perilous missions. Strap on your Terminator armour and equip the iconic weaponry of the Space Marines to overcome the threats lurking deep within Space Hulk Olethros!

Hate towards this game is unjustified. Its really fine if you don't mind the pace of it. Gameplay is quite slow, keep that in mind before buying. Its a regular game has nothing new/innovative going for it. Just go in shoot enemies do what the mission wants.
But in my opinion if you are a sucker for 40k i highly recommend it, because environment is gorgeous. The Aesthetic of ships is really well made!

My First Warhammer Game – A Pleasant Surprise
This was my first time playing a Warhammer game, and I have to say—it’s actually pretty fun. The gameplay is enjoyable, and the combat feels satisfying. While the game doesn't offer a huge amount of content, it's still enough to have a good time.
You can complete the main campaign in about 4 hours, but the game offers some replayability through special missions. These missions are randomized, featuring a selection of different objectives on the same maps you've already played. There are 9 chapters in total and 8 unique maps (Chapters 1–7 plus a special mission labeled Chapter 10).
Content & Replayability
Although short, the game offers just enough variety to keep things interesting for a little while. In my opinion, it’s definitely worth picking up when it's on discount. At full price, I’d only recommend it if you're really into the concept and gameplay style.
Co-op Experience
The co-op mode is relatively fun. Surprisingly, even with an average player count of around 50, I was still able to find a full squad without much trouble.
Campaign Length
Playing the entire campaign solo will take roughly 4 hours.
Cons
Lack of Music: The atmosphere feels empty without background music. I understand the developers likely wanted to capture the eerie silence of a space ship, but even subtle ambient music would improve the experience.
No Kick Option: If you’re playing with random players, there's no way to remove disruptive ones, which can be frustrating.
Difficulty Balance: The difficulty curve feels inconsistent. "Easy" can sometimes feel harder than "Hard", and the jump to "Very Hard" or "No Mercy" is steep. There’s little sense of gradual progression, which could be improved.
Conclusion
Overall, the game is fun and quite enjoyable—especially if you have a friend or two to play with. It’s a linear experience with repeated mechanics, so how long it holds your interest depends on your personal taste.
Final Rating: 8.9/10

While people may say it's a terrible game with a basic story and basic combat I believe this is one of the best 40K games out there. Playing as a terminator is so fun and the genestealers are a great enemy. I got this on sale for $7 and It is a purchase I will enjoy. The singleplayer is really fun however the multiplayer is where this game excels. to bad only 90 people play this game. I believe this game deserves a positive if not very positive rating instead of the mostly positive this game is stuck with.

We had to turn off friendly fire and it still took us 3 hours to beat the first level 10/10 Would praise the Emperor again

One of my favorite games. It's not balanced for single-player, it makes the game boring, but in coop it's a very engaging coop horde shooter with a lot of tactics. Not to the extent of GTFO but still tactical.

I got this free, for already owning the original Deathwing game. Some changes are definitely evident, like the librarian abilities in single player vs multiplayer, exploding monsters, and smoother FPS during heavy animations and effects in the gameplay.
The amount of detail in the environment and graphics is amazing. You can get easily immersed in the giant map layout, and it comes with all the body grotesque, cathedral and sci-fi mixed elements and other cryptids as expected in the 40K universe. This has to be one of the best detailed Warhammer games published in steam.
My only complaint is the game severely lacks any BGM, that would have enhanced the gameplay. When we get ambushed or about to fight a boss, I was expecting some dramatic, cinematic music to trigger but no. Nothing. I've re-checked my settings too, but it isn't removed. The audio is really lacking.
There's also a bug where you get stuck on the mission failed pop-up and have to restart.
Overlooking that audio flaw, Space Hulk: Deathwing Enhanced Edition still has many improvements from the base game. So it's only really worth playing if you've already owned the original version.
